When the plunger came unscrewed and the filter was in the bottom of the press, couldn’t you have just screwed the handle back into it then pull it out?

@@harmonandrews2849 for me it is not drying, but I live in a very humid climate and have combo skin. I’ve heard some people say it is and they have drier skin type. Hope this helps
sounds more like the co-vid virius, I just got over that a couple weeks ago too (flu is a standard 5 days usually and doesn't have coughing fits typically - yes, I am officially dr mom in my house haha)
@@michellemakeuptutorials I tested negative for both flu and Covid at my doctor’s office, but they were able to prescribe a cough suppressant which has helped tremendously. The cough was the only symptom that was unbearable, i sounded like a bear 🐻 coughing 😂
I really enjoy watching your videos about Chanel without any intention of buying it. 😆 It's just not worth it for the price and as you said the quality has gone down. But the company plays on loyalty of their customers and knows that as long it's a pretty holiday limited edition, people will buy it. P.S. Can you film top recommendations on Chanel? Not limited edition. I'm thinking of buying some lip products and wonder what to choose.

Just got one. I don’t mind cleaning it after use. I do find it very difficult to figure out how to get it to make a simple cup of coffee using ground coffee. I read the directions several times. I end up taking 15-20 minutes messing with the settings. Frustrated! Thinking of returning it.

Interesting, I don't notice any fragrance in the mascara and I don't see it listed in the ingredients 🤔In any case, thanks a lot for this video as well as well as all the comparison shorts you've been doing. And speaking of comparisons, you are the perfect person to ask this: I would love it if you could film a video comparing all the shades of lipstick, lip gloss and blush that you own of Merit and Westman Atelier. I think i vaguely remember Gucci explaining that the smell comes from a particular ingredient in the mascara. But it definitely is not “fragrance “ not sure if I’m making sense 😅
Hi Isabel, As always, this is a great review and comparison. Unfortunately, my Lipstick trio went back; I couldn't justify it. Even though I loved Je Reve (which I don't own) and Dash, the fact that I would never wear Fluffy made me return it in the end. Also, WA lipsticks dry out my lips terribly. The good news is that my friend is going to the USA for a week, and I ordered both Merit Holiday sets, so I will finally get to try out the brand! I hope the lipsticks work out. Eventually, I might get Je Reve, or if the Lipstick trio goes on some crazy sale, I might re-buy it.

9 collections But online you csnnonly buy 4 and shop in my country - they thing they Will have 3 of them . I bought the winter holiday makeup. The overdized palette with 4 colors, the liquid eyeliner in dark purple and the hot pink liquid lipstick. Loved all except the lipstick. It dries my lipstick out totally like they lip ball. Its not mousturizing as they claim. I am a Chanel lover but some products är only expensive and bad

Most people’s issues is that at a luxury level there is no room for expensive and bad. It send the wrong message. It says “we are not as special as we pretend to be”. The brand has not been the same since Lucia left and I hope they turn this whole thing around because i really did enjoy their special creations.
As excited i was at first, bc recent Chanel sets/pouches i did not like/purchase, i find it mean and snobby to spoil for people this little fun to carry them as bags. They charge an arm and a leg for these considering i could buy a 120€ set for only 80€ (max) with discounts. There are no special editions included, no discount and such pouches you get for free from other brands. THAT, imo, is the real cheap move. Not a broke customer. I love Chanel so, so much but this and making their lightest and deepest shades full price website 'Exclusives' is not cool.
@@Suseau I agree with you, the consumer has the right to with it what they want as they paid for it. However, they have been on a slippery slope for me since 2022. That’s when I started seeing a major decline in quality and creativity. Hence my significant decline in making videos about any of their new launches. I can’t recommend something I don’t love and does not perform well. Case in point I love the Westman Atelier eye pods which most people dislike, but I’m very upfront about how it performs and the pros and cons. So that you guys know exactly what you are paying for. I appreciate your feedback 💚

@@daphneedevlin7330 I almost cried 😂 I personally prefer coquette because Garconne is a bit too dark for me. Coquette definitely brightens my complexion which is an effect I prefer. I find Garconne to be like Poppet you have to use verrrry little because they are powerful.

@@LindseyBedro I would say if you are going to dip your toes. The lip gloss holiday set is 🤌🏼. It’s usually the first set that sells out so call your local boutique and ask if it they have it in stock. Ulta and Nordstrom also get the gloss set as well. So does Bloomingdales, Dillard, Saks and Macys. Thank you 🙏🏼 I try to use as much as I can because none of this is PR, I buy 95% of all my products. It’s kind of difficult to use every thing when you receive mountains of PR which is a shame. If I ever make it to that level I will just consistently give it away to you guys and family. Just so that it doesn’t go to waste.
Thank you for showcasing this set. Like you, the Baume Essentiel disappears into my skin. The Les Beige cream blush sticks work really well for me, so I layer or mix together the cream blush and Baume Essentiel. My favourite gift sets are the cleansers, skincare, and eyeliner and mascara. I purchased from Chanel's holiday release and, overall, have been pleased with the quality and creativity of Chanel's releases this year. I hope you feel better soon, Isabel!

I know the full size brush set is still available on some websites and I think I’m going to splurge and get it as a Christmas present. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see someone genuinely make an effort to use, test and enjoy samples before deciding to buy a full size, especially with perfumes. The amount of creators who buy everything under the sun and declutter it all a month later, it's sickening. Many of them also get stuff sent to them all the time, so they couldn't care less.

BM Mineral Veil is the best powder, super sweat proof, literally puts a smoothing filter on the face. Versace Dylan Blue pour femme used to be my signature scent: fresh, clean and sophisticated. Pretty bottle too. You need to try Prada La Femme, another sophisticated floral, very office friendly. Pricey, but beautiful is Ex Nihilo's Fleur Narcotique, one of the best floral fragrances out there imo. How interesting, Light Blue is 0 powdery to my nose, just very musky. Take care during this horrific hurricane season there, sending prayers! 🍀💛

So u ended up buying it. I was eyeing this but idk if I love the blush color for myself. I really want garcone and meme and I was thinking of the mini trio blush sense I haven't tried them yet but I absolutely hate the hot pink shade and I really don't have any makeup lovers in my life that would wear it . I kinda wish she did another set like last year with the bigger sizes and another powder blush in like meme or garcone. Surprised she hasn't done the powder blushes yet. I am so mad I skipped on that set really kinda have fomo now that I can't get it.
@@heathersargent289 not sure if you are asking for my opinion here, buuut I think you should get the 2 shades you really love and save your money. It’s pointless to buy a set with a shade you will use. Buy the 2 you love and will really get use out of 💚
I think the RT Instapop cheek brush (pink, 405) might be closer. It's smaller and is less pointy than the Instapop face, don't think it will be as dense as the 109 though and I think the angle is sharper on the RT. I've just ordered that and the BK109 and I'll be comparing them when they arrive. I don't do social media though, so it could be another good vid for you. Sales coming up!
