Having a lot of trouble building this cage, the rear panel won't line up with the 4 stainless screws. Doesn't matter if I have the side bars already in place or not, still isn't close to being aligned with the holes. Maybe it has been bent in manufacturing because I don't see any realistic way where it will line up without using a lot of force...
Wow this is the best instructional video I have ever seen on anything. Spectacular. This video just made me buy this very well designed cage. Thank you
The video was very helpful and the instructions therein very clear. Also very helpful highlighted moments showing where to pay extra attention for an assembly without problems. I did have one moment of doubt when putting my new cage together. I don't know if it was just my cage or if this is the same in all cages but the escape hatch had to be pushed hard into place to enable the top red bolts to be fitted. It felt like the upper part of the hatch wanted to spring open but the bolts were holding it in place. The bottom part of the hatch fits perfectly. Could it be that I've done something wrong or is this the way it's supposed to be?
The variocage does not need to be fixed however you want to ensure it will not move from side to side of the load space so if no anchor points are available then something like non-slip silicon under the cage will help.
I have my back seat folded down to fit a second crate back there. Can I use the VariCargo tied down in the trunk of my 4Runner with the back seats DOWN? It would be the MAX size.
Is there any way to secure these in the backseat with the seat folded down - similar to the riding areas for Police K9s? The product seems really great but would like to know if it can be mounted up in that manner with the escape hatch facing inwards towards the other back passenger seat.
Yes, the variocage and Multicage can both work for you here. Pop us an email to sales@mimsafeuk.com and we can help you decide what model would be best for you. Thanks a lot, Angus
