✨⭐⭐DAVID BOWIE ✨🌟🌟⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️❤️ Forever Star ✨ ✨ ✨ ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
THE supreme being! I mean who else creates music/energy / art like this and make it look so natural . I look around today to see what is out there to fill those shoes and despair 😩
seen this song performed by bowie a few times! always brings a TEAR because its actually a paen to his fallen brother - and ALL of us driven to ending our lives at the behest of evil men
The Song Something Happens is not the Bowie one he mansionned in interview. It's the Colin Blunstone composed and written by himself in 1974, named Something Happens When You Touch Me
I was there, friends with the guy who was taping the show. He taped everything that came through the New York area, so he kinda "had" to be there. He taped in the 80's and 90's. Now today there are many people throughout the world who're happy he actually DID do that back then. This show, on the contrary, wasn't our favorite choice. Not by a longshot. The stage concept was all white and the lights were down by stage level and pointed outwards at the audience. By 15 minutes into the show my eyes started to hurt. Too much intense glare and too much white. Hey, maybe that was David's intention, we all know he thinks outside the box. Yes, but it was a bit much, to put it mildly. Anyway, we all got to say we did see Bowie. I think that's why most everyone was there. He knew it too. Know what? I'd rather turn back the clock to Thanksgiving week 1991 and come out of The Academy that night and take a taxi home than do anything here and now in the year 2024. Hey, maybe THAT was the concept of Tin Machine. To show us how bleak and harsh the future was going to get. Anyway, hats off to my bootlegging friend Kevin. I sure miss that era. Thank you for reading.
I remember listening to this interview first time around in 1979 with the release of 'Lodger' I must have been 19 or 20 ..I had seen him the year before live at Earls Court on the 'Heroes' tour..
