Always impressed as to how the Red Army can turn on such a parade. Although I have not looked at it greatly possibly the graduating ceremony at West Point would be somewhat similar. It has turned out America’s finest. I believe that Russia has the Frunze military academy. As to our part of the world 🌎, when the Japanese began building a run way at Guadalcanal the Pacific war escalated massively. That would be 1942. The Americans who had been stationed at Wellington were to be deployed to Guadalcanal. Most were marines who could slug it out toe to toe with the Japanese. The US marines were to prevail despite challenges. Catch up real soon babe. Lo ❤️ 💋 💋 💋 💋
Red Square my dear. No stranger to your angelic feet 🦶. And testimony to the great events of Russian history. When the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings was televised from the top of Chunuk Bair in 2015 then Prince Charles was there, as was Recep Erdigan . There is a large statue there of Mustapha Kemal. The Straits were hugely strategic, and still remain so though to a somewhat lesser degree. The Russian Empire had been abrading against the Ottoman Empire for some centuries. The Central Asian republic’s gave everything during WW2, in the guise of the Siberian riflemen. Because of the burning down of recruiting centres I suspect they may not be so invested in the SMO. I did see a post of Catherine the Great. How a young German princess married Peter the Greats grandson and did stamp her authority on the Russian Empire: Lo ❤️ 🦣 🐻 🐻❄️ 🐺 🐔 💋 💋 💋 💋 💋 💋
Who could not be impressed by such a parade on the hallowed ground of Red Square. That I believe your very feet 🦶 have trodden. The Russian army can sure turn on a mighty parade. The German army are pretty good as well though they tend to tamp things down from the old days when their parades were heavy on the drum beat. Now if you want to see an authentic, or near as damnit Heer parade …. You have to go to Chile. The proximity to the real thing is scary . Complete with picklelhauber. And Standthelm: I must confess to being a little perplexed as to Russian foreign policy. ?? .such as why do official documents emanating from Vladivostok officially refer to the city as Haishenwai. ???. And Russians do not get the full benefit of living there either. As for tourism who wants to visit a Russian city to drink up its Russianness to be greeted by endless Chinese restaurants??. Koba was faced with a similar situation in the ‘30’s. His solution was to send out some of “ the boys “ from the NKVD to the Russian far east/ from what i can glean they did not even have to break out the Tokarev …:or bust a cap!! . The unwelcome visitors soon got the message and gassed- it 😂 😂. The fact that the Great country has even survived is miracle enough without relinquishing big parts of it. The ordinary Russians will have their day. “ the black wings dare not fly over the motherland “. It has been a blood soaked journey. Too much suffering for it to be for nothing. Be in touch real soon babe.
Firstly full respects to the Red Army marching band. Great work. When Comrade Stalin became general secretary of the central committee in 1924 it cannot be envisioned how consequential that decision would be as the USSR had a date with destiny on the 22nd June 1941. Although that cannot have been foreseen. Stalin did willingly take government roles unto himself to the ultimate resentment of Lenin who was enfeebled by syphillis. Stalin had a core support and his time had come. He had an extremely sharp mind. He served Russia well. He run rings around a deeply unwell FDR at Yalta where the French were for some reason excluded. Anyway the Empire is intact . I do not believe that any threat exists from Nato which is strictly defensive. I an concerned as to how casually Russia views the Russian Far East. 😢
I am sure that Red Square 🟥 would be familiar to you as a Pioneer and a fellow traveler in the great patriotic project. We live in uncertain times . Especially in the US which i am more familiar with. These are indeed unsettling times however I have A focus on seeing you . Lo ❤️ 😊
