Having played all the Metroid style Castlevanias recently, I think I can say this one might have the best soundtrack in the series. There are so many bangers it's crazy!
playing this game at 4 years old makes me sad when I hear it. knowing I'll never be able to play the DS again :(. also anything from shanoa's soundtrack makes me hold my shit lmao it's that Good and eerie at the same time
Huge fan here. Order of Ecclesia is probably one of my all time favorites in the franchise, along with SoTN and DoS. It’s a challenging entry, but it’s a beautiful and fun experience. I wish Konami would bring the ds games to switch, maybe SoTN as well.
The first time I heard the menu theme (Requiem) I legit jumped in my seat. I never thought that such a sound could come from a GBA game. Still gives me chills to this day, and when I play it loudly on my cellphone, people still look at me like "whatchu watchin'?"
Mane I know we are still 10 years away from 2035, but lemme tell you. IGA predicted the turtlenecks and chains and fur PERFECTLY. Also: Always hilarious to hear the "TOOOAST-AAAAH"
A Completionist completed all of Wind/Eric’s quests. A True Completionist Mastered all of Jonathan’s skills and found every single spell including Dual Crush!! This is ripe for another Castlevania collection on modern consoles to get some more Trophies/Achievements! If only they can figure out how to translate the DS mechanics to them….
my top 5 favorite songs: 1. 56:30 (Iron Blue Intention) 2. 3:54 (invitation of a Crazed Moon) 3. 18:18 (Jail of Jewel) 4. 16:05 (Silent Prison) 5. 51:28 (Crusifix Held Close)
1:10:40 I’ll never forget that one even though in my opinion, it’s a kind of OK spirit the fact that he says that is amazing and even though this game is 2003 I love this game
just a kid with a gameboy trying over and over again, the most similar thing to a guide back then were your friends telling you secrets about the games that sometimes were true and sometimes not, that was the best experience with videogames I ever had. Honestly I feel really lucky to be a kid in the 90s - early 2000s.
