The good thing about the h1n is you can use it as an audio interface. You can attach other mics to it or attach it to your camera using the audio out. Plus as long as it's plugged in, you do not need additional batteries.
@@vargase8173 Yes, It's good for taking pictures for soccer, you'll need a great lens to capture the highest quality image. Like a Canon 50mm f1.8 stm lens.
@georgenikou To be completely honest, I didn't take enough time to record enough of the B Roll footage nor edit it down like I normally would. But thank you for your comment!
Hello I have a question , I’m a beginner and I have been used a rebel t7 my question is I’m thinking of upgrading to a canon 90d and will the kit lenses that I use on the rebel t7 work on the 90d? I also have a sigma 150-600mm will they work on the 90d ? Thank you and I hope you can help me with this question thank you again
Hello! Yes, as long as you have EF or EF-S lenses then your lenses will mount to the Canon 90d. The Canon 90d's mount type is EF and EF-S so that's a large selection of lenses to choose from. As far as the Sigma 150-600mm lens is concerned that is also compatible with the Canon 90d because, it's an EF lens. When you remove the lens cap from the camera body, you should see a red circle and or a white square. That also will inform you that your lens is compatible with the camera's mount. Your lens will also display the red circle and or a white square as well. Hopefully, that answered all of your questions.
I'm happy to hear that I have answered all of your questions. I appreciate your feedback and you for subscribing. If you ever have any other questions please feel free to ask, if I do not know the answer I will try to find the answer and possibly create a video about it, if it's necessary to do so.
Aw man! Im canadian & this is daily commuting in the winter 😅 • nice wrx man!! I had an 06 bug eye back in the day 🔥 • ive been looking into this lens for so long! So nice to see you rep it. • do you have a go to vlog lens? Good bokeh, not overly wide angle, prime lens? Also if i have a crop apsc - my zoom factor is 1.6x. If i dont want a 10mm lens or something insane like a go pro, do i have to go full frame?
Oh really?! Well here in America specifically Texas, we get snow and ice sometimes. This year we got both and I just had to go outside and see what I could capture. I'm glad I did and of course I just purchased the Canon ef 85mm 1.8 lens. Thank you, I was testing it out to see how well it performed. As of right now, the only lens I use is the Canon efs 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 lens, I use this lens on my crop sensor camera. But I also own a Canon 6D Mark I (full frame camera). It's all based on your preferences and what you need the cameras and lenses for.
Global warming is wild man, we're having a green Christmas in Ontario this year. Last year there was such a bad snowstorm we could walk up to the roof... Ahhh thanks man! I think for my use going forward I'll have to go with a full frame sensor. Sometimes I have to be pretty close to my subject. I also want to do some vlog videos that are handheld, have a good amount of background, no fish eye, etc. But I've gotta advance the business before I can start getting stuff like that :/ Good problems to have I suppose
Dang, it snowed where y'all could walk up to the roof, that's crazy. Going with the full frame sensor will future proof you and your gear. For instance, I have a crop sensor camera and a full frame and both of the cameras use some if not all of the lenses I have for them. Actually, using a crop sensor with the correct lens will crop in 1.6x, the full frame will dial the subject or scene back slightly. Either option is great but just keep this in mind. One step at a time, I advance and upgrade logically. It is a good problem to have.
@donzeljefferson4827 haha good problems indeed! & yea bro, but rn there's no snow on the ground.. such an insane season. I sold off my snowmobiles & I barely snowboard anymore bc winters are so unpredictably shit! & bless! Thanks man! I think I'm going to save and keep up to date with what's coming out. I'm sure Canon will have a global shutter soon [I want the easiest cameras to use bc my girl is my videographer lol]. Similar thing with audio where 32-bit float is becoming the standard. • this tech is so cool man!
Wow so every year it doesn't snow? Hahaha it's unpredictable. Yes it would be cool to see what's coming soon. Oh yeah, your girl is the videographer?! You're set then! The 32 bit float should be the new standard. Technology is cool and interesting.
@donzeljefferson4827 I appreciate you doing the work for me! I'll order this for my laptop & camera gear down the road. If you have any affiliate promos I'd be happy to use them :)
I love this backpack but I use the small bag inside for quick access when I'm going out. At this time I do not have any affiliate links. Eventually, I'd like to serve the community (full time) by reviewing cameras and camera gear to give the community, the options to choose the best available option for them. That's why I started reviewing the products I own already, since I done the research for myself.
@donzeljefferson4827 keep it up, just know I really appreciate it. That's exactly what I'll be doing with one of my gym series. • I do a ton of physio training & functional strength training. So I've accumulated some essential gear in my home studio/ gym. I'm going to start reviewing those I recommend to my clients & go from there :) • it'll be dope, I'll be my own priority client - show people what I do to get where I need to go & help them achieve the same thing. They can donate if they value what I'm doing. They can join as a memeber if they want more one-on-one help. They can help cater my course to their needs & eventually we'll have a likeminded, truly rich in character, tribe. • starting by sharing all the lessons & failures I went through losing 100lb • this will be interesting 😅
Do you own a tripod or monopod? I'm asking in regard to recording your clients doing their personal strength training or work outs. I think your clients will be excited to see their progress you record. Yes, practicing what you preach will go a long way for your clients. At some point your clients will donate to the value you bring. Also, if they become a member on your channel then, that would bring in more income for your mission. You essentially will be a visual book because people will see what you had to overcome (especially if you have pictures and videos from the past) to get to where you are now.
• I got the Rode ME for now - they dont advertise that the TX has a mic on it as well 🤯 • got it for $180 new with a dual cold shoe clip, mag clips, etc. ● ill upgrage to the Pro next year for 32-bit audio - i do interviews [lemme struggle first lol] • im going to get the insta 360 x3 & they have an "invisible cold shoe" for the rode series. • its the same profile as the X3 so the ai crop makes it invisible - with top tier audio 🤯 Dope video man 🙏🏾
After doing a little research I wanted to purchase the Rode Wireless me at first. But then, the Rode Wireless Pro arrived and now I want that instead, it also has the 32 bit float feature as well. What you have the Rode Wireless Me isn't a bad choice plus it was cheaper than the Rode Wireless Go II's. I will do a little struggling too before I commit to that purchase. Hmm, an invisible cold shoe with top tier audio? Sounds interesting Thank you!
@donzeljefferson4827 I came really close to getting the wireless Pro but for my use right now, I just need solid quality. I'm filming in my studio so I can manage audio accurately - I shouldn't need 32-bit float for myself, I need it for my out & about interviews - especially in the gym where loud spikes are frequent. • with the x3 I'll shoot in 4k 30fps & 1080p 60fps. Then I'll rig the invisible cold shoe, plug in the invisible audio sync for it. Then I'll either run the lav mic or the rode interview go mic & start recording. • best video I can get filming myself I think • best audio I can afford rn for a dual wireless mic system • Sony A9 with the global shutter is on the savings plan 😅
Which is the best decision for you right now, upgrade whenever it's convenient. I know I will as my journey continues. Those are some great settings mixed with great audio, you're going crush it! Which is also smart for you to record up to two people for audio. That will work great for you and your channel. Sony A9, the mirrorless camera? Is that what you're going for in the future?
@donzeljefferson4827 haha I wouldn't say I'm "going for it" but the global shutter is NUTS & I myself do a lot of action sports. I'd love to shoot & edit for athletes & pros I work with - that camera is basically cheat codes. & as long as I have a way to gain from a purchase like that, it's a business expense ;) lol & thank you for overviewing my setup! Means a ton that you approved of it lol. I just ordered the X3. Everything should be here 1st week of January!
You capture action sports, I would love to see your stills on freezing your clients doing some strength training or work outs. Who knows you may impact lives until you meet more professionals athletes who may want to hire you based off of your history. That would be a great gain and a great investment! You're welcome! Remember I do not know everything, I'm still learning too. Okay that's exciting! You're making progress already!
f/11 - Landscape f/4 - Portrait? a short about bokeh - how to use it properly - when and where to use it - why using it gives a professional appearance.
I apologize for the late response, I've been kind of busy in the last two days. I used the same lens in this video but I changed the aperture throughout the video to see what the difference would look like. I decided to post it to see what you as well as others would think. I can record a video explaining about the bokeh. Thank you for the idea!
@donzeljefferson4827 thank you! Happy to help :) • another thing I've been trying to figure out - what aperture is recommended for shooting landscapes/ the environment? Where I really don't want any bokeh, right?
You're welcome! That's a good question, it really depends on the lens, you definitely do not want to shoot at 2.8 or lower (f 1.8) unless that's what you're going for. Because the depth of field will be thin and you would want your depth of field to be thick or wide so you could capture the landscapes and environments as they are. It would be best to experiment with your camera and lenses, but if I were to say anything I would say f/5 up to f/22
@donzeljefferson4827 sweeeet thank you! I'll start playing around with a thiccc aperture lol • I wish I didn't have to drive 2 hours [one way] in Ontario to get to nice landscapes 💀
i have owned one since 2019 and done many shoots and wildlife photoes with it with the 18-200 efs lens and later i bought a 70-200L f4 and has been amazing recently i got the chance to try full frame and rented a 5d mark iii and been loving it
@@donzeljefferson4827 No man i did not yet i may do it in the future still trying to decide. Also yeah thanks man they really are dope lenses good value for money
I have a Canon EF 100-400 1:4.5-5.6 l is IS II USM. But after I bought the TAMRON SP 150-600 mm F/5.3-6.3 Di VC USD G2 I never used the Canon lens anymore. :)
I need to research this specific lens to see how well it performs. Also, does the Tamron lens attach to the camera automatically or do you have to purchase an adapter for it?
I got my 90D a little over a year ago (from Canon "refurbished".) This camera is a beast and I love it. I've paired it with a Canon 15-85mm. For my needs this is an awesome combination.
That's great you purchased a certified Canon refurbished camera. Yes, I agree, this camera is a beast and it's excellent for hybrid shooters. I pair my 90d with a Canon ef 18-135mm, 50mm, 85mm and 100mm.
Feeding the algo. Ordered the rode wireless pro for around the same price as the wireless go II. In preparation of getting them I printed a hand held mic similar to what you are using. Great video. Also put some batteries in that smoke alarm. lol
The Rode Wireless Me is definitely a great choice! Especially, since it has a better way of controlling the prevention of peaking and clipping the audio levels. That's also cool, you printed your own hand held microphone holder I would have done the same thing, if I knew how. As far as the smoke detector is concerned, I was way too invested to delete this video I recorded. The batteries have been replaced! Haha
@@donzeljefferson4827 @donzeljefferson4827 I know the pain. Some footage has to be good enough and the music blended it in nicely. I am not at the level where I can design it myself but I can certainly print it if some own else put it out there. 😅 Great video.
I noticed the music I selected blended in nicely, but I knew someone would catch me slipping and it was you lol. Hmm that's good to know perhaps one day I may need your skills to print something for me that I would purchase from you. Thank you again for watching my video!
Oh you done so good job in this review, but you destroyed it with that music! For god sake leave the music out! Just my opinion, othervise good job you have done ;)
Thank you for the feedback, both the compliment and your opinion. Yeah the instrumental I chose on this particular video wasn't the best choice. Every video I post is a trial and error to see what sticks. You can't win at every thing you do but you can learn from your mistakes. I appreciate you for watching the video.
You got a good deal on that combination, because the 90d is a little pricey itself, and to top it off you received a brand new camera with 0 on the shutter.
Hi Donzel, Also a fantastic feature of the Canon 90d no one really talks about is the exposure lock in video and photo mode... Leave your iso on Automatic and the zoom button has a star on top of the camera... This is great if you want to keep your lighting consistent without change... Have a mess about with it and I'm sure you will love it... Subbed... As I love my 90ds....😊
Hey Keith, I'm going to have to check this out. I may know this already but I know the 90d has a lock switch on the back of the camera to keep your settings where you set them. Thank you for sharing information and subscribing to my channel!
So am I. I done the research and it shows how well this Canon 90d performs. I wanted the least expensive camera with 4k capabilities that performs well as a hybrid camera. This Canon 90d is what I found that meets all of my expectations!
Just picked up a 2nd hand 5D MKIV and I’m loving it. Had a MKIII but it gave up the ghost. I returned it and upgraded to the MKIV. I’m pairing my MKIV with my 90D, & C100 MKII.
That's great! Oh you have three cameras that's are a beast. Two questions come to mind. Does the Mark IV come with two SD card slots and how much did you purchase the Mark IV for? If you don't mind me asking.
@@donzeljefferson4827 I picked up my MKIV for $799.00 from a camera shop in Dallas, TX. Around 100,000 shutter activations. 5D series cameras have gone past 300,000 easily. I plan on fine tuning my photography skills with the MKIV.
@@donzeljefferson4827 The two camera slots are awesome! After having the C100 with its dual SD cards, I had to get a full frame with two slots. Now, the 5D MKIV uses an SD & Cfast for memory. It has built in gps and Wi-Fi similar to our 90D. Careful of the lenses you get for the 90D. According to Michael, he provides several that produce sharp images. I posted that video link in one of your videos. I own all of the STM Canon lenses. Two reasons, for my C100 MKII & 90D. They are slow lenses except the f2.8 primes. The 35mm STM prime and other STMS are the only lenses the C100 MKII facial focus lock will operate. The 90D’s strength and weakness are the 32mp sensor. It doesn’t like the older Canon glass. The EF 24-70mm f/2.8 (L) II is supposed to be the best glass for it. The pancake series is next.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fKB3PN9ncAo.html The 5D MKIV has a 1.7 crop in 4k, same as the C100 MKII sensor. I can use my crop lenses on it when recording in 4K.
I have never used the 24-105mm USM L II lens, but from the specifications it appears to be top tier quality as well as the 24-70mm lens. What aperture (f/stop) is the 24-70 again?
@@lb7144 I have the 24mm and the 50mm but not the Sigma lens. I can only imagine how sharp that lens is. I've been thinking about purchasing a Sigma lens.
@@donzeljefferson4827 Sorry for the long reply, regarding your question about the 24-70mm, the aperture [f/stop] is f 2.8 to f.22.., I hope this helps.
Best 6D Video in post 2020 😊 I recently realised that this camera has the best image quality of all sub 1000 bucks canon cameras. Yes I look at the EOS RP as well. At least my 6D beats my RP with same lenses.
This camera does have the best image quality under that price point. I'm sure the EOS RP have some crazy tack sharp image quality as well. The 6D forces you to become a better photographer.
The 5dsr can be had for under 1k now, and has probably the closest image rendering to the 5d classic. It's kind of hard to shoot with though. When you get a good picture with it, it's the only camera I like more than my 6D🙂
Ive watched probably 8 to 9 videos of Reviews on this mic. I really appreciate your straightforward, authentic approach! Thank you for making this video! KEEP GOING! Did you record this video with the NTG?
You're welcome!!! I'm glad to know this video assisted you in your journey! Thank you for your comment! I did the same amount of research on this microphone before I purchased it as well. I have plenty of videos to create for people like yourself who's trying to learn as much as possible. Yes, I recorded this video using the Rode NTG.
You're welcome! Yes, this Canon 6D almost forces you to shoot in manual mode and become skilled at doing it. I purchased it from an individual who sold it for $500. Needless to say, I say you should get it, if it fits your needs.
I really appreciate your comment and you noticed that I did my research. I do my research to assist people like you who may be wondering about a product I'm reviewing. I appreciate your love and support. More videos coming soon.
Thank you! It doesn't really hunt while you're recording your videos, which is great. If you have an APSC Crop Sensor camera, you would have to stand back a great distance to get your ideal shot. But other than that this lens is superb, especially, if you like to record with your subjects in focus, and have blurry backgrounds. It will definitely perform well in low light settings.
