Absolutely beautiful! I would have loved to learn more about what you did to cap off the existing pool lines? We are looking at doing this with our own pool.!
We drained the lines completely, we removed as much of the old pipe as was accessible, and then installed PVC pipe caps over the cut ends of the remaining pipe.
We brought our pekins out the second week we had them on nice days and made sure to stay out with them. There were some days when they were close to develop feathers but didn't have them yet, when it was below 60F and I put them on the front porch with their heat lamp on one end and a box on its side on the other. They rarely sat under the lamp on those days. I had them outside full time on nice days before they were fully feathered, still yellow. They were too big to keep in the house any longer. They are fully feathered and 2 1/2 months old now. They are fantastic about bed time and follow me to their pen around dusk (trained them easily with peas). They often will head to bed on their own without me if I'm not ready when they are 😆. They love to follow me around when im outside and sometimes will stand outside the window and call me when they want me outside. Its adorable :-) They seem to follow my voice cause I'll hear them outside a window I'm standing next to and looking in waiting for me.
Amazing, fantastic job .when you need 6 men to carry the liner you know it's big 😃😃.god only knows how much it cost.if I had the money and the space I would fly you guys over to the UK to do one for me . amazing thanks for posting xx
I’m moving to Bridgewater (fingers crossed for a drama free closing) and was looking into if we could even own ducks and we’ll this came up so…I guess so 👀
Great video! I have a pond that’s 2 feet deep. I live in Canada where it freezes over the water. Would it be safe for the goldfish at that depth since I have an aerator stone that I could put at 12 inches for an opening ... any suggestions or should I just bring them indoors during the winter. Thanks for any suggestions!
It's beautiful but the fishes have no place to hide. You need aquatic plants, hyacinth, water lettuce and water lillies. Plus it would look more natural with plants surrounding the pond. I guess it's new and not complete yet. Fishes are cute. 💗💕💗
Hello. Inside of the pond there is a fish cave for the fish to hide when they want. The aquatic plants were added after the video was shot. Thanks for checking out the vids and commenting!
Hello Anthony. Thanks for checking out the vids and commenting. Projects of this type will typically range from $50K+ depending upon exactly how you approach the project.
Where is your waterfall pump? Reading that filters need to be shut down for winter. Seems conflicting. Which pimps where can be left running through winter?
The pump is kept in the skimmer box. There are many ways to build ponds... some can run year-round, and some will need to be shut down. I prefer the year-round option for my clients and myself.
@@thePondHunter Thank You. I am trying to build a fpond that can run all winter with external pumps, but can't find any information on it directly. I would appreciate your thought or experience on the subject.
@@sorce2175 External pumps or equipment will need to be protected from the elements if you live in a place that gets winter conditions. I use all submersible equipment which is easier for year round use.
Make sure the aerator is shallow in the water. Circulating the warmest water from the bottom of the pond will over cool the water and temperatures will drop too low and kill the fish.
