Great question - you have to make sure that you continuously focus on the scene and who you are talking to. It's hard work! Take breaks when you need to, as it can really be exhausting - and then when we tend to go into autopilot that cases us to lose color@
Would the solution be to send the raw / untreated sound to your editor then he or she could edit and send back to you raw, at which point you could then save the raw before applying your effects stack and then send to your clients? Any pick ups you could go back to the raw file and reapply the effects before returning to your clients
well that really depends on the client and what content you are providing to them, as well as if you have given them an option to opt out if they find it is too much!
