That's way to much money for the mods u have. ZZ has a Z04 turbo kit that comes with turbo down pipe, coolant line, . The stage 2 kit which comes with exhaust, intercooler, PCM and cold air intake.
And bruh, u better tidy up that wiring u got in fuse box. Your gonna have a fire. I did same thing and it caught on fire and burnt entire fuse panel and all the wiring. Luckily I was inside car when it happened. I got lucky
I would recommend doing the cold air intake, big wheel turbo upgrade & retune first. Tbh, if you have a little extra $. If you're wanting to keep it cheap then a simple retune does quite a bit for this car, even with all stock parts. Just PLEASE make sure you build all the motor to handle your power upgrades, otherwise these cheap engines will not last long. But if you want cheapest & easiest it would be a retune on stock w/ maybe a cold air intake from ZZP!
I have a chevy Cruze limited and the only mod I’ve done was a muffler and resonator delete. I want to continue on with my build, but I know nothing of cars. What other mods should I do to my Cruze?
Haha yeah I wasn't really getting much traction on this channel for a bit. So I started real lifing again. 🤣 I guess the channel has picked up some steam and people wanna see the car. Sooo I guess I'll start thinking of new video content... maybe take it to some car meets in the spring to get some laughs and looks! 😎
Super sorry for the delayed response! Ha, this channel keeps doing awesome I REALLY need to make more videos with the car, I'm just busy af. 😂 I would recommend this, ONLY if you 100% own the car and have extra cash. There are far cheaper builds for far more HP/Torque, but I love my Cruze and I plan to keep it until I give it to my son after he's become a bit more responsible. Lol.
Shit.. mine pulls like that with bored out intake manifold, gutted out cat, mds coil pack, iridium spark plugs, harder spring for wastgate and adjusted for max pressure. Took all plastic out underneath engine and in front bumper cuz it restricted air flow. I also put cooler in front do to it being between radiator and sucking up nothing but hot air. No tune and no problems been this way for a year now. Beat a si.. civic and rsx that’s not bad
Still good! Haha, I actually forgot I made this channel for a while. It didn't really get much traction in the beginning. I didn't know there were this many people that like the Cruze... wow. But it's running great. I actually rarely drive it, because I always drive my work vehicle. 😂 I find an excuse to drive it every couple weeks.
You have the offbrand radio. I have a 2013 chevy cruze and put that offbrand one in and had issues then got the right one which with have 2 little holes on top left of radio instead of 3 lines and 1 hole.
Sure, sorry for the late response. About $6k in parts/materials and all the labor was done myself or by my brother, where I lacked ability. So if you do it yourself it would've cost around $6k when I did it... Now, with inflation, Idk, maybe $7500ish? 🤔 If you don't do the work, it is NOT worth the investment. Tbh. Its super fun, it's quick for a Cruze, but throw $3k in a Cobalt SS and you're past 400whp. 😂
This is actually impressive for the cruze. I still got my 2.2Lion and to me, these cruzes and sonics are basically the new ion and cobalts.. it's good to see what you done to it. I do agree it takes too much to get it to a comfortable place, but I'm happy with what you did. I could just be saying that because I have not owned a v8 yet lmao.
I love what you did with this Cruze just not sure if this is the car I would like to spend money modding up. I have a 15, Cruze it gets me where I need to go. I’m definitely going to be modding a 69 Chevy c10 once I get the money for 6.0 engine for and tranny for it.
Quite the opposite, if you plan to rebuild it. When you have the engine apart you may as well upgrade it all. But I would wait for a motor rebuild so it's less cost, time, and effort to upgrade the motor! At 157k if you took care of it you've got another 100k before you'll need a rebuild, tbh. These cars go the distance for the price.
Read "The Greatest Hoax on Earth: Catching the Truth, While We Can" or the book review, in the Irish Times. This guy is not the hero or the smooth operator that he movie portrayed him to be. He got caught many times, not just in France.
Was just about to ask this. Says on ZZP that aftermarket bypass valves dont work with the V3, which sucks. I will be getting the V3 soon and I have the Forge motorsports bypass valve.
It was a b!tch, but I had to custom fit it. 😂 It does NOT bolt on out of the box. It sounds super cool though. I'm not sure it it messes with the v3 design or not... but mine still scoots just fine. 😂 You can only do it with the whole turbo out. You will not be able to fit it with the turbo on the car. I actually had to remove some material on both the recirculating bypass valve as well as shave a tad off the turbo housing itself in the thicker part of the housing. (Hopefully, it doesn't crack in the future.)
You actually can and there is a guy on YT that had done it. It's pretty dope. You can hookup a much larger turbo to the 1.8L as it has nearly half a liter more for displacement to move more air. At a certain point the little 1.4 bottlenecks with its own displacement size. So I'd actually argue the 1.8 is a better platform to start with, though the 2.0L LSJ is arguably the best platform to start with.
Nobody uses E85 for fuel mileage. 🤣 But you're 100% right. My MPGs are toilet water haha. 40 is SUPER nice! I can dial it back and put it on crap gas again and it'll get around the 32-34 mark, but it would not be a fun car anymore.
@@cruzecollective I have lots of fun without E85 .... my car's very impressive, however it just sounded to me like it could give the wrong impression of the Cruze..... That's all...😆
Still haven't done a dyno yet, but I feel like it's truly around 260HP/280TQ, but Idk. It's WAY more fun though. Soon as I get dyno #s I'll upload it. 100%
I do wish I found zzp earlier, I could've been done with my current car and on to the next!! But I'll take my time and finish this one and then get another platform
@@cruzecollective I have a Cruze Limited that I plan on adding the stage 2 kit with V3 Turbo and FBOs. I also plan on getting a Sonic RS hatchback and doing a full build on it
