MY COMMENTS [placements 5 to 1]: 5 - ISRAEL 🇮🇱: Like I stated at the end of the video: I did decide to include Israel's entry into my top unlike the majority of the ESC RU-vidrs, despite all the controversy surrounding their participation for obvious reasons. Music and politics must be seperated in every way possible, so Eden's beautiful ballad should N0T deserve less appreciation just because her country of birth is ruled by idiots. Although during the show, I did have mixed feelings regarding their participation. Early into the jury voting, a lot of votes went Israel's way what made her seem to become a strong contender for the ultimate win, and you're not telling me that many of these votes weren't sympathy votes. 😂 I was fearing she might win because of those votes, something that wouldn't happen if her country wasn't in the situation it is in now. Ultimately she didn't and she finished on a respectable fifth place - just like in my top so I'm totally fine with that! But yeah, that doesn't take away the fact that is was heartbreaking to see all the hate and booing that she had to endure just because she represents "that" country - her country of birth ffs... 💔 If we can put politics and all that shit related to it aside for atleast one minute and listen to this masterpiece without any prejudices in mind, I think we all can agree that Hurricane is one BEAU-TI-FUL ballad that is able to touch you emotionally even if the lyrics doesn't signify a lot for you at first. Eden nailed her performance like a queen and she should be proud of herself of how she stood her ground despite everything! 💪🏻 4 - GREECE 🇬🇷: Alright, now we're getting into the VEEERY tasty stuff guys! Greece up next, and who can't appreciate some traditional Greek ear-candy?? After my first listen, I didn't 😅, because I found it a total mess. However over time, the pieces started to fall more and more together, into one, amazing piece of art that has been my most streamed Eurovision 2024 song ever since, believe it or not! This is another one of the kind that requires several listenings to figure it all out, but once you're there, I swear you'll become addicted to all the different types of music styles that it covers! 😍 After every 30 seconds of this song, you'll feel like you're listening to an entirely different song and that's what I love about it!! Greece absolutely went above and beyond with this one after their mishap from last year, and I'm totally down for it!!! 🔥🔥 No-one can change my mind on the fact that she very much deserved ATLEAST a top 10 finish, like c'mon... 3 - IRELAND 🇮🇪: Once again, 'Doomsday Blue' is another song that I didn't particularly really like at first... and well, well, well, look how the turns have tabled: TOP 3, above all!!! Before the show started, she already made her way into my favorites, but it was her performance that secured her place in my top 3. Man, that was one heck of a ride, just to express it softly! 😅 Never EVER have I seen anything even remotely close to this, but in a positive way because it was all composed so well! The staging, choreography, camera angles... It was SO FREAKING SICK!!! 🔥🔥🔥 On a sidenote; it did leave me with wetted pants out of fright and post-traumatic nighmares for days to come... just kidding of course 😉 But yeah, one word: wow. Especially because everyone around me hated it, it made me to support this entry even more! 😂 The all-time Eurovision record holder for the most victories truly stood up big time!!! 🗣🔥‼ Please give us more of this, Ireland!! 🙏 (For sure Imma play this song until I'm tired of it during Halloween next month, and no-one's gonna stop me 😝) 2 - ARMENIA 🇦🇲: Solely 1 listen... that's how much it took for me to fall in love with this joyful and extremely catchy song from Armenian descent!!! 😍🥳 Yup! They did it again; 'Future Lover' was in my top 3 last year, 'Snap'; who doesn't love that one? The same applies to Junior Eurovision: 'Do It My Way' from last edition was my #4, "DANCE!" from 2022 my #3. In short; Armenia has really been my stan-country recently, as you can see! 😂 I truly love EVERYTHING about this song, going down to the tiniest note!!! 🫶 The lively, cheerful instrumentals with the trumpet and the flute make you happy and urged to get up and dance instantly!! And they managed to transfer that same vibe to the stage immaculately, where it only became more effective thanks to Jaklin's infectious energy (admitted: I was kinda crushing on her, just a little 🤏)!! In the end, I was SO HAPPY for them that they got that top-10 finish which was more than deserved!!! GO LADANIVA!!! ❤🇦🇲 1 - THE NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱: This year's Song Contest has only one, true winner. And his name is not Nemo, despite that they had an amazing song, amazing performance aswell, and completely deserved the ultimate victory... For many people including me, Joost did not only deserve to win the Contest, but he has also won our hearts. He managed to unify the entirety of Europe with his song "Europapa", through all the injustice and lack solicitude that dominated this year. His number of streams on Spotify and RU-vid only confirm this, and he even might've broken a few records aswell! Europapa also became in hit in most of the participating countries and it was also extremely popular among the youth. The way the EBU treated him was disgraceful, just because a karen couldn't respect Joost's boundaries which he had clearly specified beforehand. However, the EBU shattered his boyhood dream with no mercy. They took something away from him that can never be undone. Shame on EBU!!! Therefore, it would only be fair to put Joost on #1... and also because his song will undesputably go down as one of thé best EVER in Eurovision history!!! First of all, the chorus is catchy as heck and I love the use of multiple languages into the verses while he sings about the corresponding countries in the meantime!!! 😍🔥I mean, this is EURO-vision after all, a lyrics can't be more fitting than this?? 😂😂 And then... the hardstyle part... When I heard this for the first time, I swear I almost fell of my chair, because this is SO FREAKING GOOD like holy shoot who would ever have thought to hear hardstyle on a Eurovision stage??? I certainly didn't, and if it were one country to do so, it obviously would've been The Netherlands!!! 🔥🔥🔥Furthermore, I really like Joost's personality and presence in front of the press and media, I genuinely think more people should be like him. He dares to honestly say how it is and always speaks with funny anecdotes or jokes whenever he's being interviewed. MY COMMENTS [placements 15 to 6]: 15 - SWITZERLAND 🇨🇭: A 100% deserved winner right here!!! 🥳👏 It's a song that suits all tastes by combining pop, opera and rap in truly magnificent fashion, and that also turned out to be true looking at the results! The performance was executed flawlessly aswell, by this charming artist called Nemo - the first non-binary artist to win the contest! Once again; a HUGE congratulations to Nemo and the Swiss delegation, and on to Basel next year!!! 🤩 14 - LATVIA 🇱🇻: This song only really started growing on me after the show, where it awarded Latvia its first qualification for the grand final since 2016 - 8 years!!! Now, I'm a little surprised how this ended up fairly high like this into my top since I'm usually not that fond of ballads, however that doesn't deny that this is a powerful ballad that's really able to captivate music lovers from any genre... and because the hilarious sped-up version of this song got me addicted for awhile. 🤣 Anyways, I'm so happy for Dons and Latvia to have finally qualified for the final again while achieving a more-than-decent result, too!! 👏 13 - LITHUANIA 🇱🇹: Although I was initially averse to this song purely because I rather wanted to see either VB Gang or The Roop to win the Lithuanian national selection, over time it still managed to earn my appreciation. And believe it or not, but out of all entries, this is the one that I have thought about the most throughout the past few months... Why? Because it's such an earworm - always has been and always will be!!! "Luktelk luktelk, da-da-da-da luktelk luktelk"... and so on! 😅 Excellent popsong and I'm especially a big fan of the electronic parts! Great job, Lithuania!! 👏 12 - AUSTRIA 🇦🇹: SLAYYY QUEEN KALEEN!!! 💅👑 Definitely not Austria coming up with an absolute BOP for the THIRD year in a row!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Man, I'm a sucker for these eurodance-type of songs 😩 - too bad that it lost its sheen too quickly after I had only listened to it several times, otherwise it would easily have been a top 10-song! Seriously??? 😔 11 - ESTONIA 🇪🇪: A similar story can be said about this clique of nutcases with VSauce's long-lost twin brother and the longest song title in Eurovision history... Ladies & gentlemen: Estonia! 🤣 First-class trolling here, and y'all know that I love my troll songs! 😏 Seriously, I love the sound of that weird instrument that they play on in the beginning of the fragment (according to Wikipedia it's called the 'talharpa', a traditional musical instrument from Eastern Europe, a kind of lyre) and I think it fits the song perfectly! But again, once you've listened to it for a while, it becomes less exciting and that is what costed them a spot into my top 10, unfortunately. 10 - SAN MARINO 🇸🇲: Excellent rock song, although their live performance was pretty awful to be fair which explains how they ended up six places from last. 😅 Regardless, that does no less to the fact that this song literally ROCKS, especially this super cool flamenco instrumental break that was quite surprising to hear between all the mayhem, to say the least, but definitely a unique music genre that we have barely ever seen on a Eurovision stage! Keep on cooking, San Marino! 🔥 9 - FINLAND 🇫🇮: Class troll act #2 with what might be the most hilarious staging ever!!! 😂😂 Oh man, how he pretends to be on stage without underwear, with random objects "coincidentally" blocking his weewee from the camera every goddam' shot is just peak entertainment to me! 🤣 Not even mentioning that he calls himself 'Windows95man' for whatever random reason, and the fact that he requested a shirt with a blurred Windows95 logo specially for this occassion because Eurovision would blur the logo for the broadcast anyway - I can go on & on 😆 All kidding aside; their song is just a vibe on itself like many others were in the Finnish national selection, and it's obvious that they were looking to replicate Finland's success with Käärija undeservedly finishing runner-up in 2023... however 'crazier' doesn't always mean 'better'. 😅 8 - CROATIA 🇭🇷: WHAT. A. BANGER!!! Croatia achieved their highest placement in all their 31 years of Eurovision, and HOW?! 🔥🔥🔥 It didn't take too much, or they would even have closed the night victorious if it wasn't for Switzerland winning the jury vote by a landslide!! 😳 'Rim Tim Tagi Dim' is just that kind of song you want to put on max. volume and go nuts on until you're almost passed away of exhaustion - that is how hard it goes!!! 😮‍💨 So, if I praise this song so much, you might be wondering why I put it on "just" the 8th place? Well, I'm not 100% certain either to be fair 😅, but I think that I simply find the next 7 songs more unique that invited me to explore new musical experiences... if that makes sense? But yeah honestly, from here on out every song deserves to be in the top 5 and therefore some had to be sacrificed. 😆 I kinda do feel bad for Marko and the Croatian delegation that they just missed out on what would've been a historic achievement for the country, therefore I really hope and I wish them all the best of luck that they will manage to get a W somewhere in the upcoming editions!!! IDEMO HRVATSKA!!! 💪🇭🇷 7 - AZERBAIJAN 🇦🇿: If you ask me, the prize for the best ethnic bop of the year goes to the Azeri's, just like they should deserve to have the (unfortunate) prize for the "most underrated entry" for the second consecutive year. Both their songs from 2024 and 2023 are absolutely amazing and have found themselves into my top 10 most streamed songs from their respective year, yet only very few people acknowledge it! Although... it has to be said; their live performance of the song was a significant downgrade to its studio version. It was not bad per se, it simply could've been better. This is a song that requires multiple listenings in order to feel the vibe, and with just one public performance in the semi-final, you won't be able to stand out from all the other songs and the fact that it all sounded fairly mediocre live definitely didn't help with that. So that explains their 35th placement. That being said, I fell in love with the studio version and their final result in the contest ain't going to change anything about their comfortable top 10 finish in my ranking! I'm a sucker for ethnic elements and the mughem parts ("the screaming", as you like) are a nice and unique addition to the only expanding amount of varying music genres to have been sung on a Eurovision stage! 6 - ITALY 🇮🇹: Alongside Sweden and Ukraine, Italy is a country that always delivers when it comes to Eurovision, and this year was no different! The fact that it wasn't again dead last in MY personal ranking - unlike 'Duo Vite' -, was one difference though, as it didn't take too long for Angelina's catchy melody to get me hooked on her song! 😍 I was a bit sceptical at first since I'm a notorious figure for labeling most of Italy's entries as "overrated" , but this one caught me by surprise entirely! Ever since, I've been playing 'La Noia' on repeat and unlike the title suggests, it doesn't bore me one second! 🤪 All in all; a classy Italian "canzone" that deserved its solid top 10 finish!! 👏

What a nice pleasure to dive into Belgium's beautiful Dreamland stores again. MY COMMENTS [placements 5 to 1]: 5 - ARMENIA 🇦🇲: Alright, now we're moving on to the elite stuff, ladies and gentlemen! Next to the boatload of ballads that have been performed this year, finally a song with some spice! This is such a banger, in all aspects: the verses go so smooth, the build-up gets the excitement to an absolute pinnacle and BAM!, the drop hits harder than my mom's flip-flop... and then I haven't even mentioned that they managed to bring a freakin' gigantic dragon on stage!? This performance is the definition of coolness, for sure. Especially when that girl with the glasses on, turns from pure cuteness to "total badass mode" when she takes the lead in the pre-chorus! 😆 BUT! The same downside that I've used against in my comments on a few previous songs... is that it lacked a bit power on stage, you know, in order to experience that "wow"-effect? At this point, it might just be a me-issue, since I've made that note for about 3 times now or so. 😂 Also, I usually encourage artists to sing in their native language, but in this case I would've preferred it if the lyrics were in full-English. Anyways, due to that, the song has fallen a few places in my top while I simultaneously started to appreciate others more, too, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it will have re-conquered it's initial #1 position by the end of 2023! It also should be said that Armenia now officially can be considered a powerhouse in the JESC: three consecutive top 3 finishes, in the contest itself aswell as in my personal tops, topped off with a huge victory in 2021! I definitely can see them taking the trophy to Yerevan again soon, somewhere in the upcoming editions!! My all-time favorite JESC country (behind France of course 🤪)!!! 4 - SPAIN 🇪🇸: The top favorite to many, and it nearly managed to live up to that status... but not quite. I can totally understand the hype around it though, and I partly even agree on it! Even though it is sung in Spanish - what is evident - it still appeals to everyone from whatever walk of life, me included! I mean, there's really nothing I can say that I dislike about this song. It sounds very modern pop, radio-friendly... Yet, it's still original in its own way and is not something what makes you think like "Oh, I heard this a bazillion times before". I think she also performed it extremely well; I was left flabbergasted when she pulled out these high notes flawlessly! Conclusion: is it winner material? Easily! So, if I'm nothing but positive about her song, why is it only on fourth in my top? Well, because the final three entries are just perfect, aswell! 😅 It keeps growing on me though, so who knows where it'll end up next time? 3 - GERMANY 🇩🇪: Oh. My. G-ermany. This is way too cute! A girl that sings a song that is dedicated to her deaf sister, while doing sign language so the sister can understand what she is singing about, on one of the biggest stages in Europe!? DOES IT GET ANY MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THIS?!?! Forreal, kudos to Fia and everybody that made this happen, because their comeback into JESC puts Loreen's one into shame. Everything is great about this entry: as I already heavily emphasized, the song carries emotional charge that can touch people but in an uplifting manner, it has a good tune, it was sung exellently, the stage had a wonderful appearance... and it had sign language. I mean, surely this is a unicum in Eurovision history! I'm still impressed how she managed to get her singing on point and at the same time not mess up any of her hand signs - at least, I assume so 😆! Her ranked fourth with the televoting was sooo deserved!!! What brand of German beer did the juries drank the night before the jury performance? 'Cuz she needed to be top 5 AT LEAST! 2 - POLAND 🇵🇱: Believe it or not, but NEVER, never ever before, fitted a song so perfectly together, to emotionally touch me the level Maja's song did. I literally became a whole new person the three minutes this song would whisper through my ears. 😂 I get the shivers every time again I hear it, no kidding. This connection that I, pretty much all of a sudden, built up with this song, was immense and a complete new experience for me. The instrumentals are just so beautiful aswell, jeez! Partially it is odd, since it's not the case that I necessarily heavily relate to what the song is about: loneliness, the desperate search after a lifelong friend. I argued that it could be explained because the song is sung by a child, and since I'm a child myself - or rather have been one, not too long ago though - I can identify myself in her situation more accurately, than I would in a song in which a "common struggle in adult life" is getting told, for example, if that makes sense? 😅 Similar topics like this, that are generally associated with teenage life, also feel more genuine, coming from the heart, in Junior Eurovision, to me. As if the story that the artists tries to share with her song, is about something he/she had personally experienced only recently. Even more so strange, is the fact that I rarely ever enjoy ballads to any high extent and that I generally don't care about the lyrics of a song at all! At first it even felt like "yet another" ballad to me, but oh boy, how turns tabled! Whatever secret this song may carry, one thing is certain, and it is that they can never take away from me this strong connection and the subsequent feelings of pure joy that I experienced whenever I went on to listen to it! 🥰 Alright, back to earth now! 😅 As ironic as it may sound: yes, I think I could have adored it an itsy-pitsy, teeny-weeny bit more if the language of the lyrics were English from top to bottom. The one time the chorus is sung in all-English is my favorite part... and it is located in the beginning of the song... So yeah, not ideal, but I simply have to get used to it, probably! Regardless of all: it's still find it so SO SOOO BEAUTIFUL to this day!!! 😍😍 Thanks for everything Maja and team Poland!!! ❤ 1 - FRANCE 🇫🇷: Okay... where should I start? 😅 Or maybe I should rather ask myself where to stop? 'Cuz if nothing would hold me back, I can easily list a hundred reasons why she is the one that deserved this victory the most. Let's take off where it all started: her song. "Cœur" is classy, French "chanson" at its very best. France has been dominating the JESC ever since they made their return in 2018, with a podium finish in 4 out of 5 editions and a spot in the top 5 every year. That they would send something of utter high quality aswell this year, was as crystal clear as a Zoé's vocals... And if they managed to meet the expectations! The day her song got publicly released, the winner was already known. It's enjoyable, it is the perfect balance between a ballad and a pop song, it's sung in French (and tell me: who doesn't fall for the language of love? 😏), it carries a wonderful message that is transferred through the lyrics in a beautiful way, it's universal and appeals to all ages,... I mean, I can go on and on! And then I have only evaluated the song yet! The staging: the exact same thing! The heart-shaped piano and Zoé's matching dress looked very elegant together, and truly came to life thanks to the exquisite camera work throughout the performance! She had the entire hall under her spell when she absolutely SHINEDDD (literally) on top of that piano, like a queen! 🤩 Meanwhile, the dancers only add to the already incredible experience of the song by this all-around outstanding performance!!! Then finally, of course, I most certainly can't forgot about the star of the night herself: Zoé! Call me whatever you like, but I fell in love with her energy during the show. She was so confident and flawless in her acting during her performance, yet she got so nervous when they invited her to answer a few questions in front of everyone, in the Green Room. 😅 It was such a wholesome moment to see, though! 🥰 She was laughing and smiling every second, she even went for a quick staring contest with Ophenya! 😂 She clearly had a blast that night and it was for everyone to notice, while at the same time, nobody could help but getting spontaneously infected by her positive energy and charm, too. After she had survived that brutal denouement of the last public points and finally was crowned the winner as she got handed over the trophy, how deeply touched and grateful she was towards everyone melted my heart. 🥲 As you probably should have noticed by now 😅, it was not only the song that conquered me, but the overall package did: the song, the artist, the vibe. Simply everything worked out, and it was all executed to perfection! To finally wrap up this heck of an analysis 😂, I would like to again exuberantly congratulate Zoé, her dancers, her crew and every single person that contributed to this fan-tas-tic entry, in order to make this victory possible. 🥳🎉🎊 I don't care if France has won back-to-back editions now: once again, they simply have composed the best overall entry out of all participating countries, no debate!!! MY COMMENTS [placements 16 to 6]: 16 - ALBANIA 🇦🇱: Of course, someone has to go last and Albania is the unfortunate one this time. Though, I easily could’ve put her three places higher aswell, since my last four are not far from one another in terms of overall enjoyability. I guess I just haven’t been able to really vibe with it, yet… To be fair, it does have some significant resemblance to Radiohead’s “Creep”, but who cares. Her song’s maybe a little bit overrated if I’m being honest, however I can’t neglect the immaculate vocals that she’s capable of showing! 15 - MALTA 🇲🇹: Despite the fact that her song carries a beautiful message, it simply hasn’t managed to touch me like other ballads did this year. There isn’t a lot going on, which of course is not always a requirement in order to create a masterpiece, but in this case it doesn’t do itself any favors, in my opinion. Nothing more to add here. 14 - PORTUGAL 🇵🇹: Another classic Portuguese ballad where we’ve seen so many of in Eurovision. However, like every other, they never score any high in my book, unfortunately. Cute lyrics and all, but just not my cup of tea I guess. 13 - ITALY 🇮🇹: Ballad numero quattro, and simultaneously the fourth ballad in a row that hasn’t been able to blow me off my chair. The overall package is a little bit bland and boring, therefore it’s difficult for it to stand out amongst the many other ballads this year. Impressive vocals again I must say, especially the taller girl has a voice I find interesting. You don’t hear such raspy voices too often at the Junior stage. 12 - ESTONIA 🇪🇪: Solid entry from Estonia to make their debut in the competition with! It’s a fairly enjoyable, powerful ballad with a little touch of drama to it… I like it! Again though, it simply didn’t manage to stick out a lot what might explain its low final position. In my opinion, it also has no really unique elements to it that could take it any higher. I feel sorry for their second-to-last placement, she and her crew deserved better! 11 - IRELAND 🇮🇪: Ireland managed to achieve their best ever result on the JESC last year, and they clearly tried to carbon copy their success this year! The genre of the song is exactly the same, the same magical vibe was present, the staging had its similarities… and they partly recycled even the artist! 😂 All laughs and giggles aside, it was a very welcome reunion to see Sophie back “slaying it” for Ireland… but it definitely didn’t end as they hoped to. Dead last in the final standings: what went wrong? The artists are definitely not the ones to blame here, since they nailed some impressive high notes on stage, which looked absolutely wonderful, fairytale-esc during the climax! I think the song itself just doesn’t have the quality to hit like Solas did, and these opera type of songs are usually not enjoyed by everyone. But a last place wasn’t deserved either, let’s be real. 10 - GEORGIA 🇬🇪: Alright, this is peak Georgia for ya: originality in its finest form! Georgia knows like no-other country how to play the Eurovision game, that’s why they had won the junior contest the most times. Every edition, they send something traditional, something that is “legit”, to let the people all over the continent meet with their culture! This year is no different, since this song is by far the most unique on the stage again! I must admit, the first time I listened to it, it all sounded like a bunch of messy screaming, but throughout the next listenings, the pieces have finally fallen together and now I can say that I kinda enjoy it! Similar to Ireland, it carries a magical vibe, but like from a different scene, one you would hear when you entered heaven or so. 😆 The unique performance with these humongous dresses, plus the background vocals really add to that. Either way, they unfortunately were done dirty by ending only 14th. I think the success of this song relied a lot on the amount of times the jury and the voters had listened to it, ‘cuz these types of songs usually need to grow on people. Regarding there are many first-listeners among the public voters, this became a huge disadvantage to them what explains their underserved low placement on the final scoreboard, I think. The song undoubtedly would've been atleast a sub-top if this wasn't the case. 9 - UNITED KINGDOM 🇬🇧: Okay, this song would’ve been way higher on my list… if it wasn’t for the chorus being a total letdown… I mean, the verses and the other parts before that are very enjoyable. It carries a spooky, mysterious pop vibe throughout the entire song which I’m usually a big fan of, but then they completely botched the rest. SOLELY a fluting tune to cover the entire chorus does not work!!! It’s almost like an anti-climax coming from the pre-chorus! An ideal chorus should be louder, more powerful and should have much more stuff going on, but the flute alone rather feels like a decline of the momentum… Don't get me wrong, I find it an excellent song overall otherwise it would not be in my top 10, but in my opinion, they missed the opportunity to turn it into a masterpiece by seemingly leaving the chorus as unfinished. Still a great effort! :) 8 - UKRAINE 🇺🇦: Whenever you feel down: play this song and you'll feel better instantly! You simply cannot stop smiling during such a joyful, uplifting song like this, especially when it's sung beautifully by only a 9 year old girl! Forreal, that one "screaming" note she nailed near the end, is very impressive for her age! Her English-Ukrainian accent is totally adorable aswell! 😂 Despite that the song tends to get repetitive over time and maybe even a tad bit annoying, I still highly enjoy every single part of this infectious song! 7 - THE NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱: Finally, a boy that actually covers a prominent role in a song! Nothing against the girls, but it almost looked like like a "girls only" contest this year! 🤪 Either way, these types of electronic dance songs are generally my favorite music genre to listen to... therefore, you might be wondering why this is "only" 7th on my ranking... Well, I haven't quite been able to put my finger on it, but I think I feel that there's something slightly off, like overall power missing in their live performance? I dunno, but the instrumental part just doesn't appear as overwhelming as in the studio version, how I like it to be and how I can enjoy such songs to the fullest. Maybe there's a specific kind of build-up that I'm missing from the chorus to the instrumentals, maybe the artists' high-pitched voices simply don't match this EDM genre for my taste, maybe the song is too cheap in general... I really cannot depict my issue!! Regardless of all; this is still an absolute bop! GG to our Northern neighbours! 😉 6 - NORTH MACEDONIA 🇲🇰: The award for most beautiful instrumentals go to North Macedonia this year. Period. A top-tier Balkan ballad! That tune pretty much single-handedly carried this song to the placement it is in right now, because I LOVEEE that part so much!!! 🥰 She's such a talented singer aswell, I mean, what she already accomplished in her singing career in her country, is unmatched at that age! I could clearly notice her maturity and experience throughout the contest. Somehow, the live performance during the show - the first time I listened all the songs - didn't manage to "mesmerize" me like the studio version did afterwards. Therefore, her song together with Poland's, have been my biggest growers so far! It's a disgrace though how she and her song got so underappreciated by the juries AND public in the end, especially when we take into account that she even was considered to be among the favorites to win before the show! They never deserved to be in the right side of the table!! North Macedonia gets robbed every edition, just like last year, my favorite... 😔

This was a quite enjoyable hunt! My highlights were the following: (1) The sightseeing elements in Brussels, this city is loaded with beautiful ancient buildings. (2) Toy Champ! This store seems to me as if it is one of the places a real toy fan(atic) needs to have seen in their life and man their selection is gorgeous - if it lacks excitement it's only due to the many Singles Cases from 2022 that have not been good at all. (3) You having your sandwich while you're chilling in a store! (4) That one store that had tons of Case D characters in boxes. In Germany, the Otis Thailand variant was not easy to find and sold quickly whereas this store had tons in storage. I hope they know that this is not the way to handle these cars ;) What I find disgusting are these silly employees that weren't able to sell you Rich Hurry. All of the other cars from the case had seemingly sold out so they can't tell ya they didn't find it... I'm sorry this one didn't mean to join your collection. All in all, I really liked it though!
