Praise God

I am former Hindu. I was so lost I was religious and went to temple Tuesday and Friday. I was searching for God. I suffered from depression all my life. So I was miserable and suffering. My mom took me to many temples but nothing worked. As a Hindu I went to church but I didn’t accept Him in my heart. I thought Jesus is one of the gods. I gave up going to temple or church for 12 yrs. Of course I still needed God, my heart was aching for God. I get strong ache to go in when I walk by any church but I didn’t go in. I was totally upset with god. At my lowest point in my life I decided to really try Jesus Christ. So I asked Jesus to come into my heart. Something happened to me at that time and I felt over whelming peace I never felt. I used to suffer from suicidal thoughts all my life. I was able to control my suicidal thoughts. I started to read the Bible. But still want answer from God. So I asked Jesus “what do you want me to do” I heard an inaudible voice “ baptize” But still not sure, I wanted tangible answer. So I asked Jesus to give a sign. On the same day I went to check my mail. There it is a notice in my mail box, it said “you need a new date of birth by baptism” So a week after I was baptized and became a Christian. My LORD step by step started to work on me. I was able convert my suicidal thoughts to positive thoughts. He renewed my mind and heart and my life. I found my God Jesus Christ. He is the one I wanted all my life. It’s been 3 yrs. I don’t have depression He renewed my mind. I owe my life to Him. My LORD and SAVIOUR saved me from my miserable life. My soul at peace and I am living my genuine life thanks to my LORD.
