To be honest, this must be one of the poorest regions in UP. My maternal home is also in UP and looks like a totally different place. Big houses, clean wider streets, Mango Orchards everywhere, hospital, even a govt intermediate College is inside the village itself. People are landowners and most of them have tractors and other modern farming equipements, production is high and they are living a happy life. The young generation is ususally highly educated and working in MNCs, govt posts and businesses. Overall a pretty progressive and prosperous life.
