Hi! My Names Chris and welcome to my channel! This is not a how to or review channel, here we simply share our passion for offroad and 4x4. Follow along as I document my current builds and do walk arounds of bad ass unique 4x4 rigs built by others here in the great PNW!
Yo! I in brush prairie close to 503. Building my first rock crawler currently. Looking for buddies to go wheelin with and teach me something. I got a 2nd Dodge 2500 single cab 5.9 magnum I’m building and a trailer.
Also for anyone wondering. I've had my hat (not leather patch) of backyard beaters for over a year now and also a shirt. Hat is still in amazing shape I wear it at least a couple times a week and the shirt is still soft and the design hasn't worn out in the washer or dryer. Also helps I turn my shirts inside out before washing and drying
With the ls is has to breath and radiator needs to be bigger for what your doing. The little radiator does fine in normal conditions that's why you wasn't having issues during the Dyno and town driving.
It has a pretty massive nice race radiator and fan from mishimoto. It’s plenty, Iv been running it hard for over a year no problems. This was just a fan controller getting wet and not working properly problem.
Not $800 for everything but not far from it for an ls swap, I don’t do the off-road thing anymore now into the street car racing and I was told I had to spend all this money on it to make it do what it needed to do and I proved that idea wrong. It can be done for cheaper if a’guys willing to do the work
There’s alot of things that you said were a little unnecessary or could’ve been done or made yourself rather than buying everything & the tuner didn’t find the hp it’s already there..
Like what? The axles trusses and link crossmembers are like the only thing really, and plate is pretty expensive, they are pretty decently priced considering I would have to pay someone to plasma cut it out or live with it being ugly and haggard from me cutting it with an angle grinder. And I tried really hard to avoid the tuner, but I was having issues with the stock computer that I couldn’t figure out that he fixed, that was half the cost there, the tune was just the cherry on top.
Yea wheeling isn’t cheap! I have had my Yota for over 18years and will be 45 and in past few years just started throwing some money at it. But really want to start to build it they way I want it! Just didn’t have the funds before with two kids. Now they are both almost out of school and doing there own thing I can go back and enjoying my hobby /sport. Yes it is easier to build when younger. You can move a little faster stay up later and not be exhausted for work the next day and repeat. Hard weekend or evening fabricating or wrench next day I feel like I was hit by a truck. Just tell myself it’s part of the fun of the hobby! Nice build!!!
Glad to hear my thoughts on that seem to be on point. And stoked to hear your still out there making it happen and getting back to what you love! Keep it up!!
@cptbuiltk7944 yes we don't need a computer world of Make-Believe that is messing people's minds up corrupt government controls people more we don't need our money connected to the internet we need to be free with our money and support American Jobs Family Value instead of violence crazy la la land make believe reality don't work on the computer world
Maybe add lil folding kicker legs on the outside half way up the ramp. That are just hinged to where they drop down as you lower the ramp, I'm guessing 2"square tube would work perfect.. and would stop the folding of your ramp... really enjoy your videos, keep it up!
