I worked at my last career for nearly two decades and thought I had plenty of friends. Since I left the job several years ago, not a single call or message from anyone there.
I have a colleague, who won’t attend an event, because they’ve been gravely insulted by what the company did to them. Don’t get me wrong. I utterly agree with how my colleague feels. However, I hope their goal is not to try to draw empathy from the company. That will never happen. In fact, they’ll do it again and will do so, with a warm, yet indifferent smile. One must realize that, with all the friendly, family propaganda, working for a company, is much the same as working for a psychopathic entity.
@@Life_quotes176 yeah, the closest my colleague will get to getting a pull out of that, is willful indifference or even backlash. I’ve worked in a lot of places and have had to come to terms with this. That the cost of a paycheck, is working with this kind of sickness.
Fellas... Never ever EVER talk to a woman coworker about anything other than money or tasks/plans at work. A woman at work is not a person, she is a tool to make money. No small talk, compliments, or being her sounding board. She is not your friend or potential partner. Those women will make false accusations, me-too you, and wreck your life out of boredom. Once more with feeling: women in the workplace are nothing but instruments of financial gain. Do not speak to them or treat them like human beings.
What if you fall in love with your manager...who came on to you and also fell for you? Pretty hard to ignore that. It was very special and magical ❤ and I wouldn't change a moment of what took place! 😊
