If you are looking for something similar in terms of vibe, i would reccomend Voices of the Void. It is a VERY different game but what those two have in common is the things happening outside of your control and creatures living their life aspect in check
Gotta admit a doll roguelike is quite unique. But if it means importing stuff from Japan is cheaper I'm all in for facing horrora beyond mortal comprehension.
That Funko Pop transition is singlehandedly one of the worst things my money has ever helped fund, and I couldn't be happier. 🎉❤🎉 Just when you think the roguelike concept has probably been fully explored, especially with recent titles, along comes Japan with something genuinely bizarre and horrifying like this. Body swapping with increasingly horrible dolls and fighting an eldritch monstrosity for the sake of mild improvement to public transit. More subtle of a twist than the doll-swapping, but doing the classic Japanese dungeon descent of hundreds of levels, but having enemies and mechanics that will force you down through levels before you're ready is a great idea to keep the pacing fast and force you to immediately scramble to recover from mistakes during the brief window of safety on the new floor. Might have to try it-- or maybe convince a buddy who is bad with horror but good with shooters to play it on stream for the entertainment of others. Looking forward to whatever comes next, and now to the eventual Rain World: Sneaksy Boi Update vid!
Go buy outer wilds, do not look anything up about it, do not spoil yourself. Spoiling any other game ruins the surprise, spoiling outer wilds LITTERALLY (And I am using the correct version of this word.) will ruin the entire game.
this guy is so calm he sounds like he should be a really smart documentary and yet all this videos are funny memes jokes and funny yet very true analogies
