I just got an unbuild kit of this Zlin 50 and it looks like it’s one of yours Can you tell me where the CG is I am planning to put a 50cc on it, a saito 300t or a Roto 50..
I love this plane its the coolest IMO. I scratched a 46" span D13 fuse mold out of pink foam with a hot wire using the best 3 view i could get but i got lost in time and havent completed it. Im going to paint it NA proposed scheme similar to the 109 , sand, olive and black up top. I got the 3 views of that paint job from an ancient issue of MAN i think maybe rc modeler. Brilliant job man 🤘
Yes , we have many our costumers who build this model by electric motor and lipo, evan we made special electric version of this plane D9 1/5 . So you can write me on fokkerc@abv.bg
Earlier models were made with intention to use water as coolant - they even had taps near engine and at the bottom of radiator to quickly let the water out so it doesn't freeze overnight during winter. Later models had expansion tanks for coolant etc instead of expansion being dumped straight to the ground, but a lot of people just ran water anyway
There was guy in Australia who set out to build a full size model of ME 109. He got as far as finishing fuselage and canopy and posted a video RU-vid. After that no one ever knew what happen to them. Greetings from KUNAMA.
