I don't think people realize how much there is to know about trail riding and how important it is to know these things. Most people just think you can load it up and haul a** and woohoo, it's party time. We'll guess what, folks, NOT!!! GREAT TO KNOW THESE THINGS WHISKEY
Now that gear changes up depending on time of year. It’s also there if we do a recovery. Then the gear is a little lighter than on an overland trip. But that bag stays always. If the trail boss is up front then we move the bags to the rest.
Whiskey, I guess whoever rides with you doesn't need to bring anything. You gottem covered. Very informative and a must if you're doing overland rides.
That's awesome! My grandpa's picture is hanging on the wall in there. I grew up visiting my grandparents in lurton ar. My family has been going to that store since it opened. It's future is uncertain as Mr. Freeman the man you interviewed recently passed away. Thanks for this video.
It is Sad. I first met Mr. Freeman when i did this interview. I did a couple more with him after that. He, in my opinion, was a very nice and good natured man. Always had a smile, a joke, a story, and a kind word for everyone. His Quick wit was the best. He definetly made a very good impression on me. It just sadens me that i was not able to get to know Wendell better. My Heart and Prayes go out to his Wife and Family. Wendell, You Are Missed.... Whiskey
lol my trusty camear man that has saved me from time to time. Miles depend on Terrain, weather, and destination. But typically we travel between 40 and 120 at a time. Make sure to watch the last episode..
Thank you for a wonderful memory!! The beauty of nature was reenergizing- not knowing what was around each turn was exciting. Could not have asked for a better people to spend the day with. Look forward to our next adventure!!
@@whiskey60 the whole idea of roughing it for days on end. I'm a country boy but man I think I'm so far removed that I don't know If I could come back. Lol
You could easily make one of thee "Couch Sleds". Especially Where you're at with the snow and stuff. You could even produce a video of it. That would be fun to watch.
Yep, 😂 then your roof is up against the wall, and your tearing mirrors, light bars, and fenders off. . Take a look at this video. The Bullet manuever . I’ll send it to you
You Know it really is. That Run can be done in a Day with lots of other interesting stops. Did you watch ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QSBAFohpqzc.htmlsi=RX96IA3zSp8HV3pO There are "Go Arounds" to the Wall also. Depends on how wide the drivers machine is...
I'm shocked that you're accurately explaining the MVUM and then in your latest video you are on trails that are clearly not on the MVUM and have been closed for years. Is this a do as I say not as I do kinda thing?
