Nice interview Harry! With Kyle, Finn, and you onboard the completion should be very nervous! Three iceboaters from Lake Geneva in a foiling boat, keep your eye on these guys. Sail fast and take chances! Bob Nite495

2.5 MM Punch would be ideal. as the pin is 1/8", an eighth inch Punch gets stuck. I also found if handy to use a 1/16" Pin to use as a guide for re-inserting the roll pin, as they are a little large and seem to remove a little of the plastic. The knob is a terrible design, seems to be designed to fail. The little 1/8" nub that goes into the hole in the spring will snap off sooner than later. I saved my knobs, and drilled a 5/32" hole where it was sheared off, and pushed a 5/32" X 5/8" pin up into the plastic, I think that should hold up better.

Nice. Just ordered one. I appreciate the chill and informative video. I know it’d be cooler and slightly more informative to show it in action on a boat, but I know the reality is that’s 10x the effort… so factory explainer vid works great!

New laser sailer here. This was great, thanks! I ended up leaving the tail of the bowline very long and tying another large bowline on it to serve as a handle.

I have first-generation track for the foresail on my boat. Is my only option to get the new captive-bearing system and install as you show at 4:00, or do Harken still produce non-captive bearings cars for the old track?

Not relevant as instructions for the MODEL 7800. Did you forget that? Oh, and the unsecured propane cylinder on the VERY EDGE of a wobbly 1/2" sheet of plywood is both stupid and dangerous.

I could only manage to watch 2 minutes. It's very disturbing needing all those lines for minute performance gains. For goodness sake, just build a better boat that's less complicated.

Lolololololoolololol what do you mean "would be a nightmare to sail"? I'm surprised they are legal! Are that many control lines really that necessary? The only thing capable of sailing that hideous cacophony of lines is an octopus.

Hi, What would your recommend for the luff length of the asymatric spinnaker in relation to the length between the attachement points on the anti-torque cable for a top-down furling system? How many percentage % should the luff length of the sail be longer then the length between the attachement points on the cable, to have a asymatric sail for deep sailing that can still be furled up easily?

Love this. I lived just around that point on the left for 7 years. Managed to crash my Prindle 16' catamaran into the Harken's pier once when I was about 20. He came out and had a good laugh at the situation.

When I see anyone using the back of a screwdriver as a light Mallett you have lost me. You are a butcher of tools. WRONG tool for a basic job! Wouldn't trust you to tie shoelaces correctly. And never near my boat.
