Welcome to my channel and thanks for stopping by. My name is Marty and I currently live in Texas. I have been an avid bike rider for more than 20 years. My channel is a hobby that I hope to grow into something really cool. Thanks again for visiting. I hope you come back often.
@@dewaynegalloway6702 the trail along the river is only about 2 miles. It was a 5 mile ride from where I met my brother and nephew. So about 10 miles round trip. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching my video. Stay safe!
I’m Abu Bokkur, a dedicated RU-vid promoter. I see the potential in your channel and would be thrilled to help boost your visibility with my expert services. Let’s connect to explore this opportunity!
A lot of people start at the ball fields behind the YMCA in Benbrook. That gives you good options to either ride out at the lake or head out to the Art Cowsen trailhead that attaches to the trail.
nice video man, saw you have done some honor rides with PH, rad dude, same here, did the texas challenge this year, it was fun! We def should connect since we are both vets?
Another cool video Marty, I have been routing on ridewithgps from mineral wells to fort worth and back , I saw another YT video where this small group rode from Dallas to mineral wells, alot of it was the rail trail path. its a good long haul, I am going to try it out after the move. hope to see you out there!
We want to start doing fishing videos on our boat but we don't 1) want to have the camera "on" and 2) recording all the time. Would love it if we could just push record on the remote and fire up both the GoPros (I hear you can control up to 5 on one remote) or the only other consolation I could thing of is if the GoPro could be put in sleep mode (I forget if it has one) until we push record on the remote I dont think it would, but does the remote turn them in as well or do you have to turn the cam on first
Hi Martin. Thanks for sharing, but I'd like to give some additional info for pairing more than one camera. I used a Hero 9 Black when I paired it to The Remote (fw 1.2 at that time). Worked well with minor issues. Then I bought a Hero 11 black to use multicam mode with both cameras. When pairing the 11 it forces The Remote to update to firmware 2.00. After that I can toggle the modes on GoPro 9 but am unable to changes options. So I can use The Remote for start/ stop recording and changing options on Hero 11 but not on Hero 9. I have mounted my cameras on my motorbike for multiple angles and need to change video options from time to time. GoPro knows about this issue but doesn't come up with any solution so far. For full functions on Hero 9 you can reset The Remote to fw 1.2 (files from the internet) and everything is fine. But if you pair hero 11 again troubles will start again, too. I have no info if this occurs to any combination of different Heros. I have it with Hero 9 and 11 Black. Kind greetings Tim
Hey Jared. Thanks for the question! I wanted to be able to use the water bottle cages and I was afraid the 4L would not allow that. I also just needed additional space to carry some of my GoPro equipment while I was out for a ride.
Thanks for your reply. That was the exact same reason I was asking. That said, looking at the design, it appears as though the additional storage space is towards the back end of the frame, and would only potentially impact the second bottle, not the first. Still undecided, but I might try the 4l as I could benefit from the additional storage. But hopefully not at the cost of bottle space.
People don't buy it. At the slightest ingress of water into the charging port, it will no longer charge. Cleaning at the service center did not help. They said it was not maintainable
@justmartyking I will use the apple watch as a remote control. THE GO REMO APP. The Apple watch works great after being in the salty waters of the Indian Ocean every day for a month with kitesurfing. The gopro remote control is the worst thing I've ever had.
@@Tim-Eilers obviously as the cameras are years apart with different firmware and different WiFi. You are using old with new expecting it to work… I have the 11 & 12 and it pairs perfectly with both no issues. So unfortunately you need a new camera if you want to use two on one remote. As a subscriber to go pro it’s £300 for a 12.. massively upgraded from 9 and significantly better than the 11 the battery life is 35% improved over the 11 and 50%+ over the 9. I’ve had every go pro from 4 upwards.
@@EnduroDroneHub Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. Since I can use both cameras in multi-camera mode, this is the main purpose for me. Start/stop recording works perfectly. I only found out that the presets on the 9 are no longer selectable with FW 2 and that this is a known error I learned about after I bought The Remote and did a lot of research. I continue to use the combination of 9 and 11. The only small drawback is having to change the presets via the camera display on H9 if necessary.
@@syazwanabdull4835 I tend to use a top tube bag on my road bike and usually I have a bar bag on my gravel bike. When i am out for a long ride i will add the frame bag to my gravel bike as well.
Thanks for the video mate, great example of the holder, I’m trying to find a holder that will fit a yeti insulated bottle, but the lid catches on the frame trying to get in, and this looks perfect thanks
Thanks for this video! Did you pair each camera separately or did you pair them both with the remote at the same time? I can’t find any videos on that and it’s not in the directions. I paired it with one camera but I don’t understand how to get both of my cameras paired with a single remote? Thx!
