I have the same problem. I wish I could have watched you do that. My chev. Silverado has the round tail gate and the window sticks out and doesn't close ?

Hi Steve. I just went to Ace hardware and got a 1 inch wide piece of aluminum and cut it down length wise.

@@ericgeyer4550 thank you. I tried diff kinds of glue for the rubber piece and nothing holds. Looks like aluminum is the way to go. Thanks man

Forgot to comment after doing this, worked great! I ended up using garage sealer for the rubber held down with the aluminum. Thanks for your idea

how did you attach those rigs on the side of the camper top?

You mean those eye bolt. For lifting it in the garage. 4 eye bolts.
