You sure you want to have all glass on your breakfast nook area with little kids and a dog? I think it’s gorgeous as is, doors would hide your decor and having the bottom be closed off could make it be less visually cluttered. Just a thought 😅 Your home is gorgeous, cozy yet elegant and minimal.
Haha, I know it’s kind of the ever going debate in my mind. The door and drawers on the bottom all need to be redone with a matching cabinet style that we will do doors on the uppers with. Thank you!!
I am newly subscribed! I love your home. I like that you have elements in there that are different and not your typical home decor. You and your husband have a phenomenal talent. Dining room wall came out great and the kitchen is beautiful especially the coffee area. I also decorate simple pretty impractical even though I am retired, but don’t like a lot of clutter.❤
About to start something very similar. Thanks for putting together this video! One issue: I also have an outlet at the perfect height of where I want the bench to sit. How did you go about moving it up? Was it fairly easy to move it up a couple of inches??
thanks so much! I am pretty sure my husband just took everything apart and bought a new box (old work that has the clips so you don't have to attach to a stud) and rewired everything just a few inches above. We have had to move so many outlets in our house its super easy, just annoying to do.
Oh no! I guess I never inserted direct links on the blog. I’ll fix that, but it’s the Graco Project Painter plus. You can get it at Lowe’s or Home Depot. We’ve gone through several and it’s been our favorite!
@@thesimplecozyhaven my bad to drop in again. What’s that wood filler you were spreading on? Have a name for it? And did it hold up over time?? Thanks again! I am finished up my own banquette now and it’s going to be soon time to fill in the finishing touches
@@johnc1280 hey so sorry! I can’t remember exactly what brand we used, there has been some shifting and a few of the spots I filled in have cracked on the upper bench but I’m pretty sure it’s just wear and tear from sitting on it. I plan to get some cushions to put over this once my youngest gets a bit older
@@thesimplecozyhaven oh no worries! Thanks for reply. Yea there isn’t a wood filler that can avoid cracking under those type high contact areas What was your overhang? 1-1.5 inches?
I love this!! Textured wallart is the best! Oh and all the customization possibilities in colors and textures?! 😍 ❤❤❤ i wonder if you could use some on a piping bag?
Thank you for this great video! Could you do one about possible improvements to builder grade rentals if you don’t want to renovate/spend too much? Also, respectfully, “epitome” is pronounced differently.
Hi. I'm a new subscriber. You have some really great ideas. I would love to see an insert of any of these that you did in your home or even a photo on pinterest if that is allowed on a you tube video.
Great tips! Your wreath is absolutely beautiful, and I tend to buy fresh flowers every two to three weeks. Fresh flowers make any room look fresh and put together. You have a lovely home😊
