Mike Vanduzee uses 2.4g per gallon on leafy greens. Im wondering if there are different versions of master blend out there? Mine has blue crystals in it, and little white balls of something. Neat system, im thinking of making a pvc parastaltic pump for my nutrient distribution. Any idea what your EC is? Thanks.
I can grow a tomato, and make most of my fert. Terrible at remembering names of things I can't eat. Can you show us your compost, worm farm & ferment area if you have one? Do you breed/cultivate bacteria or fungus? Like LABs, Trichoderma, Beauveria bassiana etc?
Your wife must be so stoked. It's like house and garden there so clean and tidy, could do with filling out with plants but that will happen over time. I've never made a bug house, have you seen mites or bad wasps moving in? Paper wasps don't worry me but yellow jackets seem to sting for something to do if you disturb them. I buy in parasitic wasps, lady bugs, lace wings and the like. small dispatch stations for the hordes of death would be good, so they don't get eaten, too cold or dead before they hatch.

Nice looking greenhouse but anyone wanting to use the same polycarbonate pannel in his beware of early micro fractures. I live in Colorado in an area thats above 6,000 feet of elevation. Within 3 years my single polycarbonate roof was destroyed by hail that shattered. This happened to my roof already two times in a hail storm so i decided to replace my roof with 8mm twin polycarbonate pannels for my new roof. The sun here in Colorado is really brutal on everything that sits in the sun and your skin. I hope this helps someone

Mowing sucks, we drill the clover with sunhemp and Forage Soybeans then Spray, arrest is Pursuit, you can get generic Pursuit, instead of arrest. Cowpeas would be perfect with your plot in the south. And Cowpeas live in the heat when the clover dies.
Great greenhouse and cool automation. I am interested to know how the intake louver opens when the exhaust fan kicks in. I see that the intake louver is powered by the nearby outlet and not by any connection from the thermostat or exhaust fan. Please clarify. Regards
Thank you. I actually have the intake louvers and exhaust fan plugged into outlets that are all wired to the main thermostat. You can do it any way you want to, but I just chose to wire it that way in case I needed to replace one of the louver motors. This way all I have to do is plug it in instead of hardwiring again.
A four year old clover plot is well established and doesn’t need the mowing or spraying, it does usually take both to establish it the first year or two tho
Only thing your missing is a big tub of Ranch Dressing..lol Mine getting ready for first cut of season north central Indiana. But maybe not cause it actually looks good.
