I had the privilege of learning under Late Sifu Dave Meadows when I was a young man in the military years. I had never finished training, but what little I have was enough to left some folks memories of not to disrespect a men smaller in size who practiced Wing Chun. Chi Sao and trapping hand was helpful for me to immobilized those who challenged me in the military years, and later elsewhere at work. Most people get the point when their hands were trapped in split second and with my fist on their temple. One made slapping hand gesture and made fun, so I offered him some free lessons in a part store, it didn't take him long to learn to be more respectful. I am not young anymore, so I in turned training my own children for self defense and health. I had in the past watched some of Sifu Francis Fong's video, and am impressed with his knowledge, skill, open mindedness, teaching, and humility. I thought that if I were younger, single with money and time, I would be delighted to have learning from him also. Just want to say, thank you to Sifu Francis Fong for sharing some of your training video and your thoughts. If more people are like you in the martial arts community, there would be much more less silliness in the comments here and more unity and in sharing to help one another improve on their skill. May GOD in the Name of JESUS CHRIST reveals HIS LOVE to us all, and HIS Way so that we may live to love our neighbor as GOD LOVE us, and also Bless Sifu Francis Fong with good health and keep up the good work to help others in his teaching of Wing Chun.
The sticky hands drills remind me of a really dedicated Aikido Uke who goes along with things a little too well, this doesn't work well if someone doesn't go along with your slap fighting.
Say what you want, but if someone manages to hit you in the neck, eye, ears, or nose, you will be taking damage lol. It's kinda what they do in wing chun
No offense but you want to pretend you’re demonstrating but you have bad footwork speed up footage and have bad footage quality even though it’s clear you have technical skills… stop trying to over do it. Humble yourself as you always tell others
I have seen people try people in my class and got the shit embarrassed out looking out that the teacher didn't give us permission to really kick their ass. Never judge other martial arts He has control not to hit the man in the throat I bet could seriously damage the man.
you cant predict all sifu's action, in real fight you can not too. what needs is how many punchs, kick you can take suffer, your strenght, health... thats real fight
