they're both technically 3.5s. the silver one in this video has more power as its the powerboost, aka a hybrid that had exxtra power from an electric motor.
Throw a tune on that ecoboost and bye bye power boost to bad you can’t do the same to it probably why it’s not popular that’s as fast and as powerful as it it gets boring and plain non upgradable 💩
There are tunes for every engine out there. Tuners just need time to crack the firewalls that brands put up to love the PCM. It's not like the powerboost has a completely different engine. It's still a 3.5 ecoboost. Just with the added electric battery and electric motor.
Just depends on the trim package and gearing usually. Most races I’ve seen the power boost and reg 3.5 run almost identical times as the power boost. My 20 3.5 stx with 3.55s was dead even with the power boost.

It is just straight pipe. nothing inside of the pipe. it sounds wicked, like a big block chevy with open headers. way to loud for trail or park riding though.
I assume the powerboost let of the gass since the eco caught up to it. There is no way any stock production truck can beat the powerboost to 100 mph atm, except Ram TRX, Ford King Cobra etc. But then again those have way higher horsepower so that goes without saying :P
That is not true at all maybe a 3.5 ecoboost 2wd regular cab vs a loaded crew cab 4wd powerboost. The powerboost only adds about 400 lbs but because of the extra power it is faster in the quarter and 0-60.
@@craig4326 I was always a V8 guy especially LS. But I drove a 3.5 TT and was blown away stock. Was like I need this and a tune. The powerboost is incredible stock.

Hello, 2020 and 2021 are the same machines. I believe 2021 just has an updated cluster. I ordered from high tech motorsports website but I just looked and they don't seem to be offering it anymore.

@@bbltd.3154 listen there’s a difference between water with hard bottom and soft bottom hard bottom you do not get stuck and can ride wheelies all day long in it. Soft bottom will swallow you sometimes depending on what kind of soil/mud you are in but 8/10 you can get out of it by just lifting your front end up and letting the back tires do all the work
