Hello - You can connect to a suitable ground or directly to your battery. Connecting to your battery would be the preferred method since the Aurora wiring harness has connectors for the battery.

And by private label I mean Aurora makes the product and then another company puts their name on it and sells it as their own brand. The Aurora brand is more popular in Australia and certain countries in Europe.
