5 years late for my comment: A great way to make a timed escape better? Add huge collapsing sections that you have to climb as you make your way to the goal.
God dang it! I got the glitch where you walk into the sands gate area and the dialogue for the charge didn't trigger!! I just spent AGES going around the sand area leveling up till I am rank 11 and couldn't figure where to go!
@@CosmicToad360 yes, it required an update patch to v1.1. Turns out it's a common glitch for those running V1.05 and below. Scared me for a sec that I had soft locked myself ☠️☠️
Never let Snatcher tell stories "'Goodbye cruel world' was the last thing she ever said As the lights faded for the final time. In the dark all you could here was a (cracking noise) as the stool was kicked out from under her and the creaking from the weight of a lifeless corpse hanging from the ceiling of her own ship... The end!" Snatcher concluded his long terrifying story Hat Kid was paler than the seals, and rocking back and forth from the story. The Mafia boss was getting frothy from shaking so much. The Captain just looked in confusion then complained about needing to get his crew back together. The Seal Crew was rowing or swimming off in a panic from the viseral tunnel part. Fish Dude just said "Whoa" "WHAT THE PECK KINDA STORY WAS THAT?!" The Conductor started "YOU CAN'T JUST TELL PEOPLE ABOUT SUCH TERRIFYIN' DRIVEL!" Then he turned to an owl "I hope you were payin attention, a movie like this would be worth TEN Bird Movie Awards! Let's just hope he doesn't get wise and-" The Snatcher interrupted "Oh don't worry about copyrights, I'll give the story to you for free! Just promise me free tickets and both physical and digital copies when you're done because I'm going to want to watch this everywhere I go!" Snatcher so kindly gestured The Conductor smiled "That settles it! Lassie! Head down to Dead Bird Studio as soon as we get home! We're gonna beat the dancin pants off of DJ Peck Neck once and for all!" Hat Kid just looked up at Snatcher, tears rolling down her cheeks as she shook in mortal terror and burning fury "I'm... G-gonna... K-kill you..." Is all she weakly uttered in contempt and dread...
@@CosmicToad360 I mean, very fair, but I'd recommend poking around in those menus a little bit at some point. You could make things look better, and if not? You can just reset them to default.
Mechanically it's far more in-depth than the Mario Kart games though, between the ring boost system and additional movement mechanics. I also heavily prefer the way the game handles items - rings discourage eternal banana dragging, the game's blue shell equivalent isn't practically worthless when far behind and all of the offensive ones have itemless ways to be avoided.
@@DeltaV0 It looks not ok to me, so I pass it. I only saw this video, but the controls seems very hard, the carts are drifting way too much to be controlled just like an arcade game. I just remembered a similar game: Wacky Wheels. I tried to compare this game to that. But this game's tracks are filled with springs, and kicking the carts unreasonably hard. I still don't think it's a fun game to even try it.
Planning on making a post on it today when I have time, I was able to get my capture card working... somewhat, so I can record again but OBS is still having issues streaming since the update. It still says my drivers or whatever are out of date so... I still gotta figure out that unfortunately
I've actually been playing it for many years now. This was my first time using Mighty though so I was trying to actually make use of his abilities! Andddd failing
