Ride AMAP stands for Ride As Much As Possible. Yellow Dots Points are Dirt Vlogs, Blue Street. I MotoVlog for my family and friends, sharing audio & photos memories and life lessons while riding my Motorcycles to spots I pick on a map. It's a multitask effort. Feel free to listen in and hopefully be entertained. I will never share or show anything that wouldn't be considered "G" rated. Clean and Family Friendly.
I already have a curved windscreen but i want to make a spoiler lip along the top. If would mean i have to counter fold that area against the existing curve ... i still have doubts if i should actually go ahead with the plan...
@@jfv65 I'm pretty sure that's possible but a better option might be too add the spoiler on top. It's a second shield that goes on top of the first. It creates a ventury affect to speed the air over the top of you. A bend won't speed up the air, just direct it differently
@@Millie.1965 I use Fuelly online. The app on the phone that connects to the website is called aCar. But when I searched for Fuelly it came up in the Google store
It was a dirt bike website that you can explode the parts of the bike and order the OEM part. I want to say, motorcycleparts.com but it was like ten years ago
@@RideAMAP I know what you mean, I still have my original computers from 12 years ago! They haven't been connected to the internet in that long as well. So I just use my old stuff, I at least can get 1080!
@@RideAMAP I have the 2012 model and just love it! Still have my DR350 as well! I kinda quit doing video and just enjoy the ride. 30 years of video production is enough for me!
Today I was riding like 120km from my home. -7 degrees with a lot of sun. The sun blindet me and I wasnt eable to see the ice. Got a death woble but managet to save it somehow. Its a scarry feeling especially if you are far from home. I wonder what the locals thought when they saw me haha. a Girl was eaven filming me haha.
Just got one. Weather change still went for its maiden run. Cold montana rain. Enough to worry about black ice. Went a mile lol It's fun and I'm heavy really surprised went right up a steep hill no problems. Thinking normal derailer adjustments needed. Easy use for torn hip and messed up back. Thanks for the video good to know it'll handle trails. Gotta make some studded snow tires and give it a solid winter run. They say these batteries in cars don't like winter. So I guess hopefully it does well. If it works out going to use for some downtown dasher runs in one of our bike friendly areas. Pay for itself I hope. Any upgrade recommendations?
Thanks for watching. After hundreds of miles I'm pretty happy with it. If I had lots of money to throw at it, new socks front and rear would be my first upgrade. Have fun in the snow. I've seen those 4 inch tires tackle the snow pretty good
I loved the scenery and riding up in TN and cant wait to go back. But you cant wait to get back out west and ride. I guess we as humans are just never satisfied with what we have. Sounds like the DR is running good
Glad it was a simple fix for you. So many people overlook the beauty in Gods creations on a journey and only focus on the designation. Just think about how the earlier pioneers must have felt moving at a snails pace.
Cool lead me up to think you are going to let me know what the issue was and you changed subject 😂. Rideamap not having enough fuel, thats new 😂. Glad yoy got to go and ride with Tyler.
Another bookmark from me. Will definitely check it back out later when comes time for the wing windows. I'm on the rear panel felts right now and turns out the ones on the upholstered piece are held with staples, which is interesting because the new ones with the chrome strips have screw holes instead.
I have a 1964 AMC Rambler 660 that I plan on daily driving. I don’t drive my cars hard but I’d like to know if it’s safe to run the thing on unleaded fuel. Thanks
I haven't had any issues driving it like this, and I've heard of you aren't pushing the red line but taking it easy it should be okay not even using an additive. But I'm no mechanic. It's rather drive them then worry and not drive them.
@@RideAMAP I like taking care of my cars and these cars were meant for leaded fuel, so I'll just stick to the additive. Thanks for the reply mate, im from australia
good value for the money. it works but you have to follow insttructions and do it multiple times may take an hour. mine took 4 hours 1 dent is completely gone. the other dent is like 95% reduced working on the other 3% if i can get it like 98% gone im happy. it took me like 3 hours to get rid of the one dent , and now its been 4 1/2 hours ( not all in one day ) an hour a day. im busy but yeah. it will look good . i hit a pole, and saved $998. 00 ok. thanks. its will get it 95% gone, but its worth it. not brand new but to the point wherei its hardly noticable . one dent is like completely gone. rember body men will spend a day or more on it. it may take a couple hours do it one hour at a time one day at a time,.
