I got my ray stantz restored to factory new colors using 30vol or 9 percent hydrogen peroxide cream in just half a day. But I live in the tropics and we have strong sunlight all day. My ray stantz only needed 1 time treatment.
Weird thing about the foot cruiser, the base mold WAS meant to be a nutrino car, but they werent in the toyline yet except Daas, so they turned into the foot cruiser and added the stone warriors tanks rocket launcher.
I believe I still have my Playmates EW Jim from the 90's buried somewhere. The one with a button on the back to launch the worm head. EDIT: Okay that is the one you're showing at first. My slime buddy was green.
There's also a graphic novel series that started in 2020 written by the OG creator doug tennaple; two of them have been made so far and theyre pretty good
I have the green weapon version of the normal Jim. And I’ve got henchrat with evil the cat and his guns and cut the cheese knife on the way! Edit: Henchrat arrived
The 1997 A-10 version is my favorite, never found one as a kid but had the Conquest in that camo color. I have the copper Rattler, lack of canopy makes it less desirable
I have no problem whatsoever with repro weapons. I completed my collection with them and even re-carded them with reproduction blisters and cardbacks. Nobody can gate-keep a hobby, you run your collection the way you see fit. 🤟
Yeah, I remember in Europe, there were two variants of most of the figures that either came with grey metal guns, that I preferred. Or their own unique colour. For example, you could get Dead-Eye with purple guns, or Bucky and Bruiser with orange ones. Also, Toadborg had a variant that came with lighter brown legs. I originally collected most of the figures, except for Toad Air Marshal, as I could not find one that came with the black gun and copper bayonet. Nor did I have any of the vehicles. Eventually I sold all my figures online. When Boss Fight Studio announced their Bucky O'Hare line, I started collecting the original toy line. Even rebuying ones that came with the alternate coloured guns. I also collected Storm Toads, as I like to army build. I've also collected two Toad Croakers, but have yet to obtain a Double Bubble. Other toy lines I've began collecting are both Manta Force and Zero Hour. I would like to recollect Visionaries. But its difficult collecting figures that are either complete, haven't yellowed, or their O-rings haven't degraded. I'm completely down however that Boss Fight lost the Bucky O'Hare license. Before we even got the full core figures. They didn't even get to release that new figure line they had planned.
Great video mate. I drove my parents mad trying to get an EWJ figure. A lot of people had never heard of EWJ and gave me a a lot of funny looks when I asked them for the figures. After 6 months of searching still hadn't found one, was my birthday coming up went to a shop and found a Battle Damaged one decided to ask for that as it was better then nothing. A few days later on my birthday went to Toys R us and finally managed to get one was very happy. Still have my original one. Its well played with, yellowed, faded and had to touch up the blue paint but would never get rid of it.
