The audio is still a bit off. You come out sounding like a New Zealander. But I can make it out. Great build I would like to see more variants of this?
Does it have a side shaft output or a downwards shaft like on a lawnmover? If its a sideshaft then you can use it without too many problems. All generator engines will use a sideshaft but I am not sure about a trashpump engine.
It's called a centrifugal clutch, it's cheaper than a torque converter but it will only be geared for one speed. Torque converter changes the gear ratio.
I have a generac 4 cycle 99cc motor that would be a great size for my little razor-kart But the generac has no external output shaft, Ide have to build off the magneto side, too bad.
Did you take that motor out of a generator? If you did, then it should have a shaft that goes to the electrical turbine of the generator. Just remove the electrical turbine and it should have a output shaft.
Legendary Go-Kart Worx, Ha ha I was all set to rip it apart, Unfortunately the Generac motor is like a B&S without an output shaft, The recoil-flywheel-stator side is all I have to work with, Imagine having to tap power from a B&S but only from the flywheel side, It is possible but then I would have to modify so much, ugg!
