There are times when I am so proud to be Canadian. Our immense contributions in world wars, Korea, peace keeping, the Cabot Trail, the CFL, Montreal Canadiens, the Canadian Rockies etc.. I am reminded how wonderful it is to be a Canadian in those times, people and places. When a Gordon Lightfoot song comes on the radio my world becomes still and in the moment. What a treasure!

His heart trouble didnt help him have thé lung power to sing as well as in his youth! He loved what he did soo much! Love his singing & all his music! God gavé him à gift & he used it til he couldnt anymore!

Gordy's voice like his great music transcends all time and space .he may be gone from this earth but his voice holds 🙏 we miss you so much Gordon .it's still so hard to believe he's passed on like the wind it carries his voice and his music across the mountains ,country side and of course the great lakes .his music reflects that .once again RIP Gordon .I listen to your music everyday so to hear your voice and music 💘

I have seen Gordon and his band play several times in Portland, Oregon and once in Layton, Utah 2001. Gordon was gracious the times I met him as was Guitarist Terry Clement.
