I'm 5'7-5'8 160ish, stockier build as I like to work out a lot. Wondering how this will sit in my camaro ss. Im short so I don't want my eye level view to be at my steering wheel, how would this sit in my car, height-wise?
great seat but very very small. I'm 5'9, weight 165, 32 inch waist and it's very snug. Installed in C5 Z06 and it fits but sits high. Do not recommend for taller people in the C5
youkickedmydog0 after a few thousand miles I’m happy with it and Im 6’1’’ 165 lb it’s perfect for me but only gripe is long drives no way to adjust seat back as it’s a non reclinable. I ordered the seat and bracket from rallysportdirect, good luck!
Hi, what racing seat that you like the most? Im trying to choose but its a difficult decision. Im 5.06 height, 32 weist and 145lbs. I like the sparco evo's and BRIDE's. Thanks!
it is more comfortable than holding on to your steering wheel for dear life in a corner when you slide all over the place in stock seats, but less comfortable on hour 5 of a road trip lol. Not a lot of options for miata guys though, the sprint is kind of the go to seat. The lotus probax is the holy grail, but you are looking at $1k a seat before whatever mounting you would need. You can get a sprint, brackets, and hardware all for $500 on fab9 right now.
Glad to see guys like yourself taking the time to review seats because most potential buyers have no way of really knowing if they will like the seat or not. While actually getting to sit in a seat and judge it for yourself is the best way to go, having reviews from guys who have spent a decent amount of time in the seat is the next best thing. Thanks again.
I have to say, I rebuilt a 2010 Mazda3 sedan earlier this year, due to its being totaled at 1500 miles. Anyways, I will be the first one to say, DONT BUY THE NEW ONE! The frame on that things was damn near as thin as a beer can. Mazda claims that its a high tensile steel frame, but I would advise staying away from it all together. Its not just the mesh that was poor styling. The headlights are rather nonadjustable and altogether to front clip is held on poorly.
@tigercrap HAHA I love all the new MS3 haters. The new model is simply a better car, and it's to say that when comparing a car to the old version of itself. Slower 0-60? Who cares? By the end of the quarter mile, there you are in the ol' rear-view. It's just too bad you cant see my beast grinning and laughing at your tired car from back there.
@typedoubleR stick to ur Honda forums and quit bashin other peoples cars and dont start that bs that civics are he best around cuz I have a N/A rx7 that has beaten cute little vtec power toys (not to bash hondas lol) Im just tired of all the BS Honda guys bring, there is a reason Mazda says "zoom zoom" lol
Besides, RR - where in the States can you actually purchase a Civic R? You can buy yourself a Mugen Si, but that's just an Si with some expensive bodywork. Straight off the showroom floor, the Speed3 will top an Si every time. Read a C&D or R&T comparison test before you trash someone's new ride.
