at 19:40, you say it's statistically a worse play to go for yes but in the example you gave, you said 'will we get a skip by 777 while at 722. this is 55 attempts. The chance of getting a skip in 55 attempts is 57%. so, actually, it's more favorable to say yes.
Here, we have 1 in 64 to be our chances. 1 being functionally constant and 64 being the 'drop rate value', or DRV Personaly, I define a drought as 3xDRV attempts with no success.
No discrediting to your video I think it’s great and I enjoy your content but I think the SMS community should try to ask for summoning salt to do a video about the speedruning categories for SMS because of how big he is, I think it would bring some much needed attention to this amazing community\game.

This mod looks so fun (and stressful lol) props to the creator i would actually want to play it but there is no way i can learn all this kaizo stuff. I dont like watching long videos yet i watched this whole video every second (on different days obviously), it was incredible maybe if i ever get time i might get to try it
It's explained in the video, the game was patched to give you FLUDD during the first run of Secrets so you can do red coins first, but if you use FLUDD at any point in the level, the secret shine disappears and you can only get the red coin shine.
Arguably one of the top tier sunshine runners imo, doubt there’s many people who have claimed 120 shine kaizo sunshine runs.(if wrong would love links to faster 120 shine “doot” “kaizo” runs of this game with full gameplay recording.)

...When I was a kid, I had nightmares where my GameCube was sentient, and would force me to play super-hard "remixes" - for lack of a better word - of real (or sometimes even not real) games. And any time I failed, he'd shock me with electricity. This looks like the kind of thing he would've tortured me with. This is... I've only just finished the Bianco Hills section, and I'm horrified. Which, naturally, makes it very entertaining to watch. Play? *NOT IN A MILLION YEARS.*
So crazy that Sunshine is so technical to master, but so damn fun to watch. I sat through the whole thing and don't regret a minute of it. I was cheering with ya during the harder stuff. You had my jaw on the floor with some of these. Amazing run! And thank you for this amazing supercut!
