Finding out that, despite not being a professional dancer, Sally Ann Howes did this perfectly in the first take, makes this performance even more amazing. It's still one of the most memorable film scenes from my childhood.
Four evil characters that terrified children, The Wicked Witch of the West The Child Catcher Pre armored Darth Vader Lord Voldemort Let's add one more, Captain Hook
Remember watching them on tv during the early 70s,not familiar with this one but it's good to listen to very much like their more better known hits Auckland New Zealand 2024
im sorry but that thumbnail is not what happened as the train fell in the river and HOW THE F#CK ARE THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS GETTING THE NAME WRONG?!
What a ballsy and energetic live performance - wish I had been there! It was very obvious they were having a great time performing - u can see Annalise getting a kick out of the sounds emanating from the band
He found the character, is speaking patterns, his logic, his humor and never deviated. Every once in awhile I swear he DID limp on the wrong leg though!
Don't bother with just one song from this wonderful album. Go out and buy it and listen to it all. YOU'LL BE DELIGHTED..... Will The Circle Be Unbroken volume 2".
Saw him last night in Denver, went backstage after the show (first time I have been backstage to see him in years) and he remembered who I Was. He's such a class act...incredible musician, just an amazing talent...he sounds better live than from the studio if you ask me. Pure Talent.....
I loved Pickettywitch as a band, Catchy Songs, Beautiful Harmonies, Keith Hall the Drummer was a great inspiration for me to take up playing Drums, And as for Polly, What can you say, Gorgeous Voice, Absolutely stunning looks, How could you resist not Loving Her, Such a class and Underrated Act, Thanks for this
I love when he traps the kids in the jail wagon that was decorated to look like a candy wagon. It's funny as an adult to think of the guy making that elaborate cart that has all the fake parts just fall to the ground as he rides away with the kids 😂. Does he go back to get it to continue with that child-catching racket?
It's been about 50 years since I first saw/heard this performance, and it's as entrancing now as it was when I was a little kid. Dic Van Dyke was great, and Sally Ann Howes -- What a vision. What a pro 💜💜💜
Hard to believe that Chris was on 15 years old and Roger was 12 when they started the Byrds. But then again, they were so much older then they're younger then that now.
Saw these guys open for Firefall in Norfolk Scope (80’s) they blew the show away absolutely awesome! Love to get the No Escape album, can I get some direction! This is too cool!
After hearing Karloff sing for the first time, I think that he would have done an equally good job had he been allowed to use his singing voice in the Grinch who stole Christmas.
