Acacia has been playing flute since 2004, earning her Bachelor of Arts: Music Performance from CSUSB in 2017. She performs regularly with the 40th ID Band in the California Army National Guard and with her band The Indigo-Go's Ensemble, and has recently begun playing solo at anime conventions across SoCal. Her favorites include the Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Pokemon, any anime with maids or vampires, and much more!

I know this comment is a bit late, but goodness gracious this is good! I was just about to listen to Soliloquy right after remembering Ingrid's sacrifice in Scarlet Blaze and then I found this. Excellent job on this cover, and the lyrics were extremely well written! Originally I imagined this as Ingrid's spirit trying to tell Dimitri to move on and leave avenging her behind, but then reading that this was Byleth's POV, yikes... I can only imagine her walking away from Garreg Mach alone consumed by grief after seeing post timeskip Dimitri. My heart. Again, well done on this cover!!
Actually, this is a very valid point. Given we haven't been off to Gronder, we can't really know what Dimitri looks like =.=" Never thought about it this way, thanks for the new perspective
I am speechless at how WELL you have written these lyrics! Again the symbolism is SO GOOD! The themes, the metaphors, and how I could see this being official! Love the little ties in from Edge of Dawn as well! You are incredible! Amazing voice and rendition! 10/10 will ABSOLUTELY listen again!!!!

You know for a game that has ots main character playing and invisible flute, there is a serious lack of proper Flute in many of the actual in game songs or covers using them here. This is absolutely beautiful and i thank you for it. Just, going to listen to this on repeat for a little bit while i draw-

I can not properly express how impressive and beautiful this is. This is my favorite track from Three Hopes, and the Three Houses universe is an all time favorite for me. The amount of symbolism and poetry in this song brings a tear to my eye cause of how amazing the characters are. This was stunning!
I've been re-reading this comment a lot since I saw you posted it, I'm so honored to have had that effect on someone 😭 When I initially wrote it out, I didn't think others would necessarily feel the same emotions as me since a lot of it was based on my own hurt playing some of Three Hopes, as well as a one-shot fic I wrote with that premise, so I'm so so glad the symbolism came through to someone else 😭 Thank you so so much for listening and commenting, it means so so much!!!!

I can definitely see the "Disnerd" part, especially with Solon's opening number. Makes me think of Ursula's song from Little Mermaid (or something, my classic Disney memory is a tad fuzzy).

Aha as fitting as "boar" would have been, "lion" fit the rhythm better, as well as the double meaning for Byleth later. I also really like the fish climb a mountain bit, that's why I stole it 🤣 Thanks for listening and commenting!

@@FlautistAcacia OKAY I'M BACK! So like I reallyyyyyy love the double meaning of "lion" here and the "fish climbing a mountain" bit! I honestly thought my idiom was lame when I first wrote it but you seriously made it sound so much cooler in this song!!!!! I honestly never would have thought to use Ashen Demon as the song for this chapter but it makes a lot of sense since this is probably the first time Byleth is acting impulsively out of her emotions instead of rationale. Compared to the beginning when Byleth was a "demon" for killing *without* emotion, this Byleth is a "demon" for killing *with* emotion. Her reason to kill is no longer for professional purposes as a mercenary; her reason to kill is deeply personal as a daughter mourning over her father's death. You just gave me the inspiration to write a prologue version of Ashen Demon that touches on her initial lack of emotion to parallel the human side you showcased your version. Will I actually be able to write it? I can't make any promises because I'm slow and writing lyrics is hard LOL, but you seriously might have just helped me out of writer's block for this.
@Cutelilpineapple First off WELCOME BACK I've been excited to hear your more in depth thoughts! First off, I didn't think the idiom was lame at all! That's why I wanted to use it lol, it fits Byleth so well 💚 I'm also so so happy to hear your deeper thoughts about Byleth's "demon" moniker, that puts into words a lot of feelings I have that I've been unable to put together 😭 I'd really really love to hear your take on a version for the prologue cause, let's be real, that makes WAY more sense with how the piece is used in Three Hopes compared to this, I just really fell in love with the lion/demon dichotomy once it got in my head aha. I'm so so honored to hear this is helping with writer's block, even if it's only a little! Writer's block is such a pain 😭 I'm also noticing that we kinda have opposite problems with this project lol. I've got some pieces written or started but I struggle to like... actually perform them LMAO. I've still got Recollection and Regret sitting on the back burner, and I've started writing a couple others, but getting in front of a mic to record and edit is much more of a struggle to me compared to listening to the OST and taking notes while I'm working my desk job 🤣 Writing lyrics is a challenge but so is SINGING them without cringing at myself 🤣 Anyhow I'm rambling, thank you so so much for taking the time to come back with your beautiful wall of text to come back to 💚💙💚
While yes, it is a bit awkward that one person voices the whole Blue Lions house, I think you do a fine job! The dialogue lines are a little... Hastily skipped through occasionally. However, you can definitely be proud, this is very impressive for one person to do! (I, for one, definitely am not capable lol)

I swear I wasn't fishing for compliments when I wrote the description, it was just 11 pm 😑 "Hasty dialogue" is an issue I suffer from IRL as well, I have a bad habit of speaking quickly unless I make a conscious effort 🤣 I'll work on it some more, it's just an issue elsewhere too. THIS IS SO COOL! I think you do a great job giving each of the characters their own voices in the way you mimic their vocal quirks. I could tell which character was singing even without looking based on how you sang. Really nice work :)

I'm glad you like them! I make no promises of doing other routes aha, Azure Moon is the one I have the most emotions and brain rot for, and these take a bit to write.
