Hi, two years ago I got myself a micro rs4 skyline and since you have one I would like to ask if its hard to do a rwd conversion to it and any cons that it might have (thank you for answering if you do)
No problem it is not hard to do a rear wheel drive conversion all is required is that you remove the drive belt going from rear spur gear to front spool Cons less traction and increased difficulty to drift if you do not have a gyro but if not drifting you should be fine
It won’t turn right you say so it’s turning left just fine but not to the right if so I would check the servo it is working right and check steering linkages to make shure that they are not binding also check trim on your transmitter just to be safe
How do you get the D compound tires to fit the original rims?? The stock rims are more narrow than the tires. I have 3 new sets of aluminum rims and have issues finding tires for them. Thanks for any info
For the aluminum wheels you have to find the narrow performance tires from hpi and they are rare and hard to come by but I did see some on eBay a while back for the d compound tires I’m not running them on stock wheels as seen in the vid for the hard type drift tires just boil them and then press them on to the stock wheels the inner wheel will stick out a lil but not to noticeable and it should work good I hope I was able to help you out a lil keep me posted if it worked for you
Hello! Thanks for the input! someone know what will happen with these ecx models? ruckus 1/10 2wd, torment 1/10 2wd, brutus ... on the horizon hobby page ... (it says that it is only available in the store) I want to buy an ecx amp buggy, or a brutus, but I'm afraid that next year discontinue some ecx models, and consequently it will be more difficult to obtain accessories and spare parts, greetings!
You should be able to find a fare amount of replacement parts on eBay even after a model has been discontinued and you should be able to buy the models there as well
I’m interested in knowing if you are willing to sell your carbon fiber upper deck and rear mount from Team Orion... or possibly trading for a different upper deck and pass through shock mount with oil filled shock? Please let me know
Thank you very much for the interest in the team Orion parts I do have to hold on to them unfortunately I have a new brushless build in the works and was thinking of fitting these parts but if I end up not using them I’ll let you know
