As a black woman, i know how beads feel🤕 those first 10 seconds made me itchy, beaded braids hitting the skin.,i can't perform with shoulder skin out in the open with that hairstyle 😅
That's what made Selena so beautiful, she embraced all cultures. As someone who is both Afro-American and Latina, seeing this makes the heart glow, because she understood what so many have yet to learn...there is no us vs them; we are all in this together. There's so much we can be sharing and learning from one another. She got the lesson. And she displayed it beautifully.
she was everything into herself. and that was the beautiful part. she grew up very american, and started to appreciate other cultures like her own (mexican) and others (black culture) she was truly a gem. wish she was still here w us, imagine the unity she would’ve created.
With the way trump has turned america had to pull up this video to how can be again.. we are resilient and will bounce back like this great country always does.
Love this! Great reflection of Selena’s inspiration and influence from past to present and, now, to beyond.. Her legacy continues to evolve and, for that, am truly grateful 💜✨ #selenaforever
I still don't get how she had to die to get where she's at now. More than her fans didn't know who she was before March 31 1995. I guess it's the norm to glorify a person after their death.
This was awesome, I thought I knew everything about Selena at this point but I learned a lot more about her I love it, now I want to visit those new places in remembrance of her.😻 🙂
She looks beautiful in them even though I'm black I think white people shouldn't ware braids because their race does too much racist stuff and appropriate all culture
Selena’s passing put a whole dark cloud in the Latino community, Tejano music industry and the whole entire world 💔💔 3/31/1995 was the worst day ever! 😔😔 May the queen continue to rest in eternal peace. 25 years later and her legacy is still growing and growing stronger.
