The Faction Collective was formed in 2006 by a group of passionate friends with the aim of creating the best-designed and built freeride skis around.
We started making products with the belief that they are more than the sum of their parts - that with the application of innovative design and manufacturing principles, we could make better tools for skiers who demand the best in performance, versatility & quality.
16 years on, our brand is a close-knit team that believes the closer we are to our products, the outdoors, and each other, the better our output. With bases in Verbier, Denver, London, Annecy, and Tokyo, we've now applied the same exacting philosophy to create a world-leading range of skis and mountain equipment for almost all forms of alpine skiing.
Every detail of everything we make is pored over, questioned, and refined. Everything is there for one reason - to make a better product. To make a ski more versatile whilst enhancing its performance.
excellente vidéo les gars ! ça tue sa mère, très propre, vous me fouter le seum de fin de saison avec ça ! mais comme vous dites, santé plaisir jusqu’à la prochaine saison ;)
What do you think of the Machine 2 Mini as an allround spring touring ski? We ski slowly, so not worried about stability at speed, but still, sometimes you build some speed in the turn, and hit bad snow. Also, with the minimal camber, how do you find them skinning up and skiing down very hard, icy snow? Again, this would be at slow speed, not looking to charge, just looking for control and reliability.
agree with this question. the studio 1 is a symmetrical ski according to Faction spec sheet, so I am wondering why they would recommend it mounted a few cm back, especially on a pure park dedicated ski.
i just got mine mounted “true center” and it ended up landing over the progressive line on the studios. i don’t understand, is new school a forward mount?
@@12f8ewfo yeah i’m not sure. based on my own measurements, true center falls in between the progressive and new school mounting points. which is upsetting because the shop didn’t care to measure it and just stuck me on progressive
Hi Sam, I’m curious about your hoji pro boot. Do you know if it fits like the speed nose hoji pro tours? If so I think it would be the perfect boot for me.
The film is good, yes, the images speak for themselves, and the "interview" perspective of the professionals is interesting, but I think that the film doesn't share enough emotion. Many emotions are felt more through the music chosen and its association with the images or even through the presentation of the athletes, and this sharing of emotions has always been very present in the films of The Faction Collective and I think that unfortunately this sharing is rather absent in this film. I'm not saying that this film is bad, far from it, but that it lacks emotions.
Great film! I always especially love seeing pros set the example of utilizing guides when exploring new experiences and new terrain, not only safer but often more enjoyable that way!
Guuuuys🥹 This is the best movie from Faction! I didn't get such pleasure even from the main films with the whole Team. Great job and fantastic expedition!
