You have very interesting projects, I would like to know how many hours of work, on average, does a restoration take and how much do you invest in materials? It's not critical, I like your projects, I'm just curious. thank you😅
@@FLIP2THRIVE OH! about $120 (labor) + $20 (materials) = $140 not bad, that's $200 free. Interesting job, personally I was not very interested in restorations but watching your videos you have changed my opinion, I am a cabinet maker and I will follow you on your channel (if you don't have a problem with that). thank you
@@josemanuelbarrera172 it’s interesting when people say that as I don’t charge myself out at a labour hour price. My profit is the remainder after all expenses have been taken out, so $300 on this or if you want to say an hourly rate it’s $50 per hour.
Fine looking and different. For the drawer pulls, I've started adding matching "backing plates" to each pull. I try to achieve the "drawer pull/backing plate" width to be about 10% or more of the overall width of the piece. It's a very old formular I've seen explained on another video from a museum in Providence, Rhode Island on how to "age" antique furniture.
Thank you for the great information, I'm just diving into furniture flipping, painting, restoring and had 0 clue on the differences between laminate, veneer, particle board, mdf and wood! May the good Lord God Almighty bless:)😊
Absolutely gorgeous!! I love your attention to detail and thoroughness. Your explanations are perfect and to the point. I enjoy every minute of every video.
@@nw8204 you can leave as is or you can use the Paintwash to neutralise the base so that your stains show true without competing with the natural timber tone ☺️
Love that you took off the doors and sanded and finished the entire piece. Just found you and subscribed because you do the complete job. Just like I do. ❤!
