Yes, I bought the chains separately - those enameled paperclip chains are amazing. I took a lobster claps for one of the lengths for a quick necklace. I love their chains.

After contemplating for many years, I have decided to try Summer Camp 2024. I’m not necessarily fond of all the designs; however, I want to branch out to learn new techniques. If I really don’t like a design, I will use the items for another project. Thank you for sharing.

I wish they’d make prettier projects. I have three other camp kits but have never made anything because I’d never wear half the stuff they make. I’d like more from Danielle Wicks or Jill Wiseman
I will agree that many of the projects from years past are not my taste. I can work with this year a little better than others. I will use the beautiful beads for another project.
Hi Misty - This is my fourth summer camp and I have not always made all of the projects as designed. There are some techniques I cannot successfully get done and I have even changed necklaces to bracelets and bracelets to necklaces. Danielle's project is going to be so much fun - I love her teaching style and her written instructions. Jill had a bracelet last year with Dakota stones.....and it's my FAVORITE - and I have not completed it yet. I even purchased more beads to make additional bracelets. I hope you can make it to another event :-)
IMO, Feeling a little sad, feeling as Brittany, is kind of dialing it in 😢 I was expecting something a bit more glam from her. She does so many beautiful pieces for JJB. I LOVE her work, she is one of my FAVORITE designers.
@jenifermiller6944 I am excited for her class, I adore Brittany, that is perhaps why I was a bit disappointed. Brittany (& you) do some really amazing stuff that I usually like &the style I like to design myself. I would love to see how you can hang bangles from it.
This is my fourth camp and eighth workshop - I have attended their Beads & Blooms and Winter Workshop events too - always a great time. I hope you enjoy your first camp. 🙂
