I like to Add that Lenovo G Series and E Series also are good and work well with Linux. But stay in tune with what processor you want and do your research as the Rysen5 scores near 7000 on Multi , Good for steaming Video here on RU-vid Being it has 4 cores and 8 threads - But mind you on the venting out the back as The hinge is blocking the vent port - Other than that It is a real champ in working with Linux mint 100%. My new Acer fell flat on it's face with driver issues and yes I bought this back in 2023 brand new - Sorry acer you fail..
Choosing between a 55 INCH OR 65 INCH... AS LONG MY TASTES QUALIFY.. SINCE I AM A MOVIE FANATIC... I'LL GOING TO HAVE A TV STAND THREE LAYER AND BACK TV FLAT SCREEN HOLDER. SIGMA BRAND.. AROUND 19,000.00 PHP. OR 190.00 USD.
This Summary is at least 2 YEARS outdated. Even better on PCIe 4 Platforms are MSI Spatium M482 at 7300MB/s, Crucial T500 at 7400, Samsung 990 PRO at 7450 MB/s or Lexar NM800PRO at 7,500 MB/s And yet, theres also new 2TB PCIe 5 Drives with well above 10,000 MB/s. The low end starting with e.g. Gigabyte Aorus Gen 5 12000 SSD or Crucial T700 at 12,500 MB/s or insanely fast MSI Spatium M580 FROZR or Crucial T705 at around 14,500 MB/s (do not get a PCIe 5 Drive unless you have a PCIe 5 based Plattform) in September 2024 .....
WD Black is dominating nothing, WD Blue maybe way up with server applications and SATA. in regards PCIe SSD and die production, Samsung dominates the industry.
30 years no problems with wd black drives never lost one to corruption, fast reliable, can not say same for Samsung I've actually had their drives get corrupted and lost data. (Side note I don't exceed much over if 70% storage on drives to keep their health for longevity on any drive and I don't run raid 0 ever) So I'll always choose the one that hasn't failed me in past. I can say if it were choice between a Seagate drive and Samsung then I would choose the Samsung. Edit: Nix that last sentence, interestingly enough I just learned that Samsung sold out to Seagate of all companies in 2011, this clarifies so much for me. Seagates have been a nightmare for me, and many friends irl had the same problem with them.
Fully recommend Lexar. High performance for the price. Never heard of it before, but a year ago bought it, no regrets. Excellent speed, great price, had no issues. These days, only considering Lexar. Other vendors are overpriced, why pay more?
