I was camping in Colorado a few years ago on a motorcycle trip, got up before dawn due to a long day. CCCold, 26 degrees at around 8k if I remember. Got on the road heading west. This came up on my playlist as the sun was coming up. Sunrise in the mirror indeed. This song always gets to me, knowing the backstory. Especially when riding, gives you a lot of time to think. One of my favorites, though I don't think it gets the attention it deserves. Sunrise in the mirror Lightens that invisible load Riding on a nameless quest Haunting that wilderness road Like a ghost rider
I need to rebuild my music room. There's allot of good old stereo equipment out there cheap. Find good reel to reel equipment. Just get surrounded by real audio systems.
DEEP PURPLE is the very best rock band ever. After them, you got Led Zeppelin; Genesis; Pink Floyd; The Who; Black Sabbath; Iron Maiden; Rush; Jethro Tull; Metallica; Rolling Stones; Kiss; Emerson, Lake & Palmer; etc etc etc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get goosebumps just by watching Neil pouring his heart out during this performance. Raw emotion paired with sofistication and precision. It moves me everytime. RIP Professor.
There really are people on the face of the Earth who do not have a 7 channel amp. And as such they are unable to hear the rush because it was produced in all digital 7 channels, 6.1. I feel bad for all those people who have never really heard the advanced Dolby settings, because they have no idea what it means to listen into a 7 channel environment with these musicians!! I am sorry if a 7 channel amplifier costs too much money, but I was able to find a replacement for the one I had almost 20 years ago!! It's like saying that stereo will always be the best, no stereo is just stereo but multi-channel audio will be the best!!!
