Yeah, I’d love to fish Kentucky Lake. These days , it’s all largemouth. I fish with my uncle who is the boat owner, and Cumberland is a little further away than he likes to drive. We mostly fish CC. I have heard of the random smallmouth or even meanmouth there but it is a rarity.

Recognize your name around the ky area as well as Adam there. Think he fished Taylorsville some to another there! Cedar is special! Good gizzard shad/bluegill lake. Fun top water summer time top water! Great quality there ..sometimes can be hard to get the plus 20inchers
I haven't hit it at the right time yet but know people who catch tons of either white bass or hybrids during the spring when they are pulling water from the lake.
Seen ya on Badlands, thought I'd give you a view. now a sub. Grew up on the Mississippi, Missouri, DesMonies, and a few smaller rivers. 1st hour saltwater fishing in Florida I decide I'd move here, did so 28 days later. Lived within a mile of the salt for a 4 years, decided I missed the river too. Now the Apalachicola is my backyard, mown grass to the water, and 20 miles to the salt. Actually the river is under my RV today, flooding, only going to be 4-6 inches under me this time, didn't pull out. Growing up we had several 34-71 acre private lakes, they'd each give up a couple of 45-50lb flats a year, but I headed for the river every chance I had. Those current fish fight so much harder. Been nice to of seen the one that broke you off.
