During the grunge era (and I was a teen back then, so I remember fondly) there nobody dyed their hair pastel (which isn't really a big deal since you are modeling hairstyles), and the little buns where more of a post grunge hip hop thing; in fact, all of these hairstyles are post grunge 2nd half of the 90's;very No Doubt and Smashmouth looking. Grunge hair was very, very low maintenance; think hair dyed by cool aid, and hadn't seen a comb or a wash in several days.
