I'm just killing time until time kills me. Other than that... I came to get down. Life along the Hudson River. Just a guy with a bike, camera and drone... trying to figure out the answer to life's persistent questions. I make videos to amuse myself. I WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR ANYTHING. I WILL NEVER TRY TO SELL YOU ANYTHING.

We live in northern NJ, close to Paterson, and visited this location. I am quite psychic, and wanted to see if I could feel Rubin Carter or John Artis there. Walking into the bar, it has been completely renovated - the bar is now on the left side of the room, formerly on the right, the ceiling has been lowered, and it now is basically a liquor store, no pool table. When I put my hands on the inside walls, I concentrated on Carter and Artis, I felt nothing. I couldn't see or feel anything until I got to the right side of the room and touched the wall there, where the bar had formerly been, and I saw the phone rang late that night, the bartender answered. Someone wanted to make sure he was bartending, and sent two men. I saw that he had been arguing with a few men and a woman, very loud arguments, in the weeks prior to the murders. Could not hear what the battles were about, but it seemed to be about money. I went outside and put my hands on the front and left side of the building, where the getaway car was on the corner, but did not see Rubin Carter or John Artis there. Just my feelings on that case.
I lived on 46th St and Smith Ave in the 70's and it was much different. At 0:40 by the sandy area of the diamond there used to be a large house where the big apartment is under the word "Total", and under the word "Upgrade" that was our big yard. Bad times then... The house burned down and I visited the area before I left and never returned. That was before all those apartments were built and it was still a burned out hole in the ground. Smith Ave was much different as well. Thanks.
I used to skate these cliffs / hills on rollerblades in the 90s, to get from my Grandma's house to my Mom's. Ridgefield Park to North Bergen was a nice ride, all on the sidewalk. Being with the cars on Kennedy would have been and still is Russian Roulette!
I see your point, but as a human, some of us envy others' belongings. I can attest to that! I do take two spaces, but I park at the end of the parking lot.
Joseph Lepore is the name I was assigned at birth. When I grew up...in 1990, I became a professional magician known as, JUSTIN STYLE. And am now in my 34th year of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. I've recently found a box of old video tapes and will be uploading some that have meaning to me. And...you may refer to me as either. 😀
Joey...can you put an 'option' Drop post on The Apollo?? Sweet Ride! i'm considering 1!!!!....love the 'Internal Gearing'...belt drive = Low Maintenance!! cheers from Canada!
Sugar cane IS an incredible unique taste experience in its delivery of juicy sugar sweetness and in its tender crunchy texture... nature's ready made candy, one that I can attest to from first trying it, freshly picked from a field full of sugar cane in Barbados, summer of 1972. The cane was warm and alive with flavor, which, like warming up a Cuban sandwich through pressing, elevates the flavor and experience to the highest
It looks like Cuban bread, but it definitely is NOT pressed the way I'm accustomed to that little Cuban restaurant, mentioned above, doing it. Pressing it as a final step toasts the bread and helps to melt the cheese which ups the Cuban sandwich game in my humble opinion Of course, the quality of the separate ingredients are the core consideration when judging what makes a good Cuban sandwich. Barring best ingredients, pressing and toasting the bread, melting the cheese, takes those best ingredients and elevates its flavors and experience. Cuban restaurants outside of Miami and Hialeah don't press their Cuban sandwiches, which makes what could've been the best sandwich, ordinary and plain. It always confused me why restaurants DON'T press them. And the lack of restaurants that DO press them always made me harken back to the place and time that did, making the BEST Cuban sandwich I've had to this day, and a benchmark for all others, though I didn't realize it at the time I'm sure Joey's discovery above is accurate, but it makes me wonder if he's ever had a pressed Cuban sandwich?
@@gregorylammers8024 There is NOT ONE PLACE in the entire Hudson County area that doesn't press a Cuban sandwich. We live in the most densely populated Cuban area outside of Cuba. Also...unlike many pizza joints - EVERY Cuban sandwich is made by actual Cubans! 😎 #CubaLibre
I wonder how that Cuban sandwich tastes like compared to the little Cuban restaurant I used to go to when I lived with my dad in Hialeah 1976-1980? Because that Cuban sandwich was the best I ever tasted anywhere. I will need to go this one in NJ to compare.
Nothing will ever come close to a memory with your dad. But...for years, this is the go-to place. Belarmino Rico opened the place in 1978 and still is the one making the sandwiches, today...now in his 80s. If you go, let me know, I'll meet you there.
Just courious.... what is your height... and Bike size? Priority bike sizing is different for different models. I'm 5 / 7 with a short inseam. My Apollo is a Med.
Great video! Have been contemplating this bike for a long time but was holding off due to lack of front suspension. The smooth shifting, silent breaking, & silent ride are 3 things I haven’t seen mentioned in any other reviews & just made up my mind! And totally agree about the kickstand!
Hello there, how are you? I have been analyzing your RU-vid channel for a long time, your videos are very nice. I can make your RU-vid channel much bigger if you want. Dude, please don't... that's why people hate us, and that's why they will change and enforce the law... "hospital rooms, restaurants, food shopping" all these places full and jammed with people is a NO GO! Why would you bother so many people for your own fun and you have a random video from such a place? I wouldn't fly my Hover in these places even if it was completely silent and wouldn't make any noise... And I don't even want to talk about what can go wrong, like hitting other people with it, or random fly aways... Please don't!
