You might be right about women having stronger sense of smell. I was in a room and a dude walked in. When he walked out all the women in the room were on his ass saying he got on some cheap walmart cologne 😂
If it’s not too much to ask would you mind telling me your front tire dimensions? I have 19x10 in the front but I’m having fitment issues & I think it’s because of the tire profile maybe
Always happy to help if I'm able. Unfortunately I don't have the exact dimensions for the wheels, but believe they are 19x10.5. The tire is a 295/30r19 if that helps. Obviously make sure you're not all the way lowered.
@@FJELDHEIM1974 Thank you! I have the widebody rear installed as well. I have GS wheels on my stingray now & I will say I’m lowered & my stock front shocks are shot so I think that’s why I cracked my drivers fender….keeps bottoming out. Did you upgrade your suspension? I may raise it a bit
If you didn't go to WB front fenders, I'd say that's your issue right there. The Stingray fenders don't have the correct flare for the backspace on those wheels. I'd look to go with a custom set if shocks and raising it don't resolve the issue.
@@FJELDHEIM1974 the thing is my front tires are smaller than yours. I’m running 285/30/19 compared to your 295/30/19z front so that’s weird to me. Im going with Z51 shocks so I hope that solves my problem
No idea, that was a car I took on trade, parted out the aftermarket stuff and then sold it as a stock SS. Currently I'm in an F1a Procharged C7 making 967rwhp. Your C5 sounds like a nice combo! 🍻
@JWE_ correct, and mine IS a Stingray, I just added GM wide body panels to it. It'sin the description. I'm assuming you can see it in a YT short, maybe not?
Thank you bud. They're 19x10.5 and 19x13. Unfortunately I burned the paperwork that had the back spacing/offset specs when I burned the boxes so that's all I have to offer.
@@G33kLife747Flying I found a parts list on Corvette forum in order them all at GM partsnow.com. ACS sells a kit along with the lower brake scoop adapters but it was $700 less acquiring everything but the adapters separately. If you have Facebook message me and I'll send you a screenshot of the list I have saved.
I bought all the parts from Gmpartsnow. com and the scoops from ACS that are the wider quarter panels work with the Stingrays rocker panel (aka aperture). Saved over $700 by Not buying the ACS "kit" which is just GM panels that are marked up for your convenience lol
@@FJELDHEIM1974 so the fender extension that go by the wheels , that give makes the difference between a Regular stingray vs GS/zo6 did u get those off ACS, I’ve seen a video where someone had drill some holes or cut a piece off , and so the side skirts and lips are OEM? From Gmparts
@@josepineda9740 feel free to find me on FB if you need more info, rare name so should be easy loljust look for the car. But basically yes. Theres 3 holes that need drilled with a template (my body guy did it) to mount the somewhat triangular scoop piece onto the factory rocker (aperture), and the quarters and bumper are GM that mount directly in place with some reused brackets and a couple new WB specific brackets. I can send you a parts list on FB that will make life easy.
Awesome! Can you give me some advice on the procharger system? I have a 2002 z28 with a full SLP exhaust and long tube headers. I have $7,000 budget. (I will need a pro install). I'm not sure how hard the install will be. Thanks!
How do you get the service engine light to shut off? I see yours is not on for some reason... this car probably not tuned on dyno. My car 02 SS Camaro after tune light stuck on... error in MAF, too much air draw, even swapped the stock maf back in
+Jeff Ingram Get a ECU flash, it makes them go away ! I had that light after removing cats and O2 sensors. Just make sure they disable just that one error code so you know when something really wrong with your motor...
took this car as partial trade for the black turbo car i build in my other vids.....i have since sold off the Procharger, 4l80e, meth kit, etc and it is now a simple cam only 347 LS1 with forged rods/pistons and a 4l60e with an FTI3600 stall and 3.73's. it's rather boring, probably making a tame 400rwhp but it makes for a great daily driver, equipped with everything it came with from the factory and more. currently sits at 38k miles and is clean as a whistle. Most of the gauges are coming out and going into my single turbo 408 ls notch with the hopes of low 8's-high 7 sec 1/4 times and being a fair weather street car. More to come! :D
Talon Stogsdill oh now i see what you mean.....mainly because not everyone relies on the trans to shift itself when you're WOT. but i think the guy put it in there cuz he thought it looked good. personally, i think it's out of place but the shop he had install it mounted the damn thing directly to the dash and so it's pretty much a permanent fixture there. it's the worst idea i've seen in some time, being that its a mint car that had around 30k miles on it when it was installed 2 years ago.
not sure what they are man, just that it's supposed to be a 9.5:1 motor. i took the car in partial trade. sorry for the delay, just saw it's been 10 months lol
Thanks man. Yea, im putting a stock motor & trans back in it & selling the car, also selling the blower, forged engine and built 4l80 & gauges seperately and starting a new twin turbo LS project on a '93 notch roller i just picked up that's already set up for an LS/TH400 combo. as much as i've enjoyed this street beast, i can't leave the drag stuff alone lol
Thank you! I'm pretty happy with it so far! It's only a bit over half the power of the one i traded off for this one but 100 times more street friendly!
just got it today and didn't have the a/c on but it was sitting idling for 15 mins or more taking pics on a hot blacktop road today and got up to 209 so its not overheating. it's the procharger fan from what i can tell and a little one in front of the other side of the radiator but i haven't verified it works yet. but, that was as hot as it got all day and it was 90 and no breeze so i'd say it's doin the job.
awesome! yea that was with 3.70's and a slick and not leaving all that hard. idk what it will do now on drag radials. It went 1.37 n/a on this tire before when it was a 10.3x's car.
just had it tuned yesterday to 22psi due to being on stock thin deck heads so thats as far as i'm pushing it. Yea if i had to drive it that far.....i wouldn't lol that's too far just to race imo. but luckily, i have 2 tracks within 2 hours of me but the one is only about an hour and 15 mins.. good luck with them 8's man!
