😍 that pink first outfit looks so cute on you. I seriously will love to reproduce that outfit, unfortunately I’m a girl with oversize Girls 👯 that I cant. Your style reminds me of 70’s Jane Birkin. What type of jeans are you wearing?
I’m just watching your first video (I started on the third one first) and I feel like you have stated your style on there perfectly. Comfortable, minimal and fun (for your pop of colour, quirky pieces, fun style elements). I’ve found with my words that I was trying to be too specific with words such as French, British, vintage inspired etc and having more general words encompass all the aesthetics I’m drawn to. I’ve narrowed it down to Relaxed, Structured and perhaps elegant but I’m constantly mulling over the third one in my mind. 😊
I loveeee this!!!! This video made me happy, the whole time I was like: “ yeah, that me too” .. “exactly “ even when you were unsure about the shoes hahaha
Glorious dress, pattern quite casual even though the dress is not. It already has that yin/yang balance(classic) you want. Wear with boots or booties(causal yet classic again) and a short jacket (suede?) You ARE a romantic (hairstyle, curves) so don't fight it. BTW, I'm 70 and STILL seeking my "words." Enjoy the journey!
Yay. So inspired. Finally found my 3 words to start with. ✨ Natural, clean and creative. 💖 Natural - practical, natural fabrics, heavy draped fabrics, undone Clean - clean colors, not to fussy, simple lines, minimal. Creative - diy, personal items, some colors.
I just want to say that I only discovered you this past year and have loved following your style journey! I see so much personality in what you wear, even if you don’t feel it shining through right now ❤
This is really helpful. Where I struggle is finding pieces that fits me right. My body is hourglass/pear but most of the styles I like are for no curves, like your style (no offense) , so when I wear some clothes I look like a potato sack. I love jeans, and casual outfits cause I live in a tropical Island . Is complicated
Found your channel while working on my words. Right now, I've got comfortable, effortless....and still working on word #3. I bounce around between chic, put together, boho...I think I have a similar problem in that I love how certain pieces look on other people, but not so much on me. Part of it is my own self-esteem issues, and I have to let myself love the way I look when I don't have the same body as the women in the Pinterest photos. I'm not tall & slim, and I always thought I can't dress like that. Slowly getting there!!
Really love this Rosie! I am in a real rut 9months post partum, and to be honest have massively changed my style since about 2018 and never updated my wardrobe! I still can’t work out my words but pinning stuff I like :) I think classic, casual and quirky work for you! Maybe romantic for summer, but I wouldn’t say boho 😊
You are currently my biggest fashion icon! I'm 25 years old and I've been struggling with my own fashion identity all my life because I hear from my loved ones what doesn't suit me all the time. But I am finally determined to wear what I feel comfortable in. I'm sure I like to wear casual and classic style, but I work in the creative industry and I still miss the spark in my outfits and thanks to you I discovered the so-called little bit of quirkiness. I love it!
Hi, its from DeMellier London, beautifully classic looking bags made in Spain, They have a really cool giving back program too where every bag purchased they fund vaccine programs for children in need !
You got this! I did write a blog post all about keeping my style while being pregnant which you can read here www.rosiebutcher.com/thoughts-on-that/2021/10/6/tips-and-tricks-keeping-my-style-during-pregnancy
This video was so perfectly timed! I’ve had a really rocky weekend when I had the realisation that I’ve lost all sense of identity. I currently have a 16 month old daughter and I also said I wasn’t going to lose myself! So I watched your video, tipped out my wardrobe, made lots of piles of clothes (jeans especially!) that were either too big too small or just didn’t feel like me, and I’ll be busy creating my board over the next few days! Thank you 😊x
Ahh it can be so difficult when you suddenly find you don't know who you are anymore. I always find that style and what I wear massively effects my mood and confidence so think its so important to find the clothes in your wardrobe which make you feel great. I hope this video helped. The next video / task is live now so hopfully you can follow along and we get back to ourselves asap!! xxxx
Great video and excited to see the next steps. I also went super minimal and am now (second baby 9 months postpartum) trying to incorporate more fun retro pieces to spice my style up a little.
Ah so similar to me then! Thought I needed a stripped back wardrobe but actually it made me feel less like myself. Mixing more personal thing which feel like you will defo help xx
