How many of us have fantasized swimming in a pool of delicious food. Despite our superior intellect and modern advancements, most of us can still only dream about experiencing the joy this creature must be feeling. God speed muskrat or baby beaver.
Not sure there four or five young owls this year at the midland city forest. they are starting to spead out i use to see them all togather like every day if not every other day now they are harder to find just went out today and didn't see one.
That's awesome! I've learned to love owls. I used to be so scared of them but now I find them pretty fascinating. Even bought an owl statue for my garden!

That’s a baby! Sounds like his/her siblings are nearby as well. He says, “Mom! Dad! There’s a weird-looking ape staring at me and pointing a weird shiny thing at me!”
They are beautiful. We have a few around our area. The other night, one flew to the ground right in front of me. He landed on the ground about 15 feet in front of me. And as we were both surprised by that, we just stared at each other for a few seconds. I love all birds, great and small, so that was a real treat for me to see him that close. I tried to do my barred owl call..but he wasn't too impressed and flew off into our oak tree. I think he was at our bird bath, and I had startled him. I guess they will visit bird baths in the hot weather to bath or take a drink. But, I got a thrill to see him so close that night.
