Thank you! this really is helpful. Funny, I the ones I like, I like best under the studio lights… I’d like to see pistachio in with the lighter blue colors to see the difference!
I bought this and the button fell off after a couple years and wolf just sent me a new one after I gave back my old one. :) watching that button to make sure it’s not falling off this time!
The ankersrum is far more expensive than the kitchen aid. Not practical financially for average home use. User unfriendly compared to the kitchen aid. Kitchen aid has stood the test of time. Made in America!
I wanted a pressure canner for years and I was on the fence between a Presto and an All American Canner. Price was a big factor, but I also wanted something easy to use. I talked with several people who can and they were split down the middle. One friend who's been canning since she was a kid told me she used both and preferred the AAC b.c. it was easier to use and they have yet to to replace it. I bit the bullet and got the AAC. I do not regret my choice.
I wouldn't recommend this item for blending nuts. If you're looking for something for blending nuts, I suggest a high power bender like the vitamix or a food processor. I hope this helps :)
I recently fired up my Presto Canner, and while "multitasking" I lost track of time. I could hear the hissing of with the weight had changed, realizing that I was 25 min late in shutting off the flame. The result is I cannot remove the lid from the canner, and assume by $50 worth of canned meat therein is lost...
Oh no!! So sorry to hear that. If you do mannage to get it off, Presto does sell the replacement seals that you can get to replace your old one (I assume it's proably damaged if you couldn't get the lid off).
INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup blueberries 2 cups creamy nondairy milk I tbsp. Sugar I teaspoon vanilla extract Juice ofl 1/2 small lemon 2 cups rolled oats 2 tablespoons chia seeds Pinch of salt Combine all ingredients into ajar and mix together. Seal and refrigerate over night, enjoy the next morning!
Is there a certain # of jars that’s a minimum that need to be in the pot before you can pressure cook? Like I could do just 3 & that’s ok? Ty I’m new to this!!
I had ordered that KA on Amazon and of course, a few hours later I found the Ankarsrum. Thankfully , you were the seller on Amazon and you let me cancel the order and then I went to your website and bought the Ankarsrum! That was the best decision I ever made. I have my grandmothers Harvest Gold KA and it still works great but I didn't want it to ever break so decided to get a new mixer. I love my Ankarsrum.
So glad that you are enjoying the Ankarsrum! If you ever have any questions or want expand with one of their many attachments chat with us on out site or give our customer service a call and they'd be happy to talk :) Happy mixing! - Chef Austin
Half or more of the video is about irrelevant claptrap such as colours... I thought it would be about cooking performance, but no, it's all about the look and 'feel'... 😂😮🙄
Is there supposed to be steam coming from the where the lid and pot come together? The spacing is even all around and I did lube with olive oil. The temp dial says pressure is correct. Steam comes out at the lb weight but it doesn't really dance around.
Hello! No, there should not be any steam releaseing from the sides. You may call Presto directly if you need assistance or have any questions at 1-800-877-0441. Representatives are available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time
@@EverythingKitchens I figured out that i should measure the distance all around with a ruler. That worked. I've done several batches since then and it worked.
Do you have a link for a comprehensive list of the KitchenAid color codes? I have a black mixer with the color code "SN", but it doesn't appear in your video.
This is one of the most comically unscientific comparisons I’ve ever seen. The amount of flour has a huge effect on the texture of the dough, and you can’t compare the two machines when you end up using different amounts of flour. What kind of dough recipe lets you vary the amount of flour like that anyway - especially by method and time of mixing or kneading? You should have used the same recipe for both mixers, and you should have blinded yourself from knowing which bun belonged to which mixer.
Wonder if Zwilling themselves can keep track of their many lines of knives. They should just keep one line for the traditionalists who still love a bolster, even though that thing serves no real purpose and the Pro line with its half-bolster. They just need to re-design the blade as its curvature is a little too pronounced and the tip is too high up and the handle which is pretty chunky.
Checking the gauge is suggested every 2 to 3 years. Plus the presto also has a jiggler if you would read the instructions you probably would have known that. Idiot!
Got a new mixer and was so unhappy with it being sideways. Who knew i needed to snap it in place? Also glad to know how to adjust it if it’s still off. My previous mixer locked to the turning plate
