This park is ok at best. If in the area it's good. But I wouldn't travel to it again. As for the rides being out of operation. That's a six flags given. They can't seem to keep their rides running. This six flags is way better than six flags great adventure Nj. If you want a day of spending Disney level money at a ghetto trash park. Then Six flags Nj is the place for you. Rides are so in need of maintenance they will break your bones. Some of the rides there actually have broken bones in recent years. A bottle of water is $5 from a machine. This is a bargain compared to the hot food available in the park. But then again, they over start charging you right at the parking lot.
the one thing I love about Yukon (especially in the evening/night) is how fast you take that damn vertical loop lol. Its awesome to see such an odd element added to a dive, yukon being the only one with a loop
this is the best dive coaster ive been on and the best one out there .. look at the facts, its the tallest , longest in the world.. it doesn't get more exhilarating than this
just rode this 2 days ago and the back seat is very thrilling , this is my second favorite coaster based on the speed iit goes and that drop, my first is Yukon and ive been to multiple theme parks across the US and Canada... leviathan's first drop is unmatched, especially in the back where it literally throws you over the first hill. Yukon's first drop is beyond phenomenal and more intense than any other drop ive ever been on... i honestly dont think it gets more thrilling than that.. but leviathan is a great coaster hands down .
1. Fury 2. Intimida-Thunder Striker 3. Copperhead Strike 4. Afterburn 5. NightHawk I havent been, but I think if I ever go there, this is how it’ll rank!
Easily one of my favorite flat rides after my visit a year ago! I'm still using the Oho sunshine glasses you recommended couple years ago...great for rides, water parks, scare zones and especially my kids basketball, soccer, track events
Since I still can't decide if I liked Leviathan better in the front or in the back: I've decided I prefer POVs of Leviathan in the back, since they just look better to someone merely looking but not riding. So I want to thank you for a potentially elite POV of a B&M giga in the rain which is supposedly makes the coaster better but can be painful if even a mere raindrop hits one in the eye at speeds of 90 MPH. It's 1st world problems we deal with, but at least you do them with passion and respect. Please keep up the good work!
I can't say it's the best dive coaster since I've only ridden 3 B&M dive coasters, but In order: I rode Valravn in 2018; Oblivion in 2019 and Yukon Striker in 2021. Yukon Striker is the clear winner of the three, but there may be a case for Griffon or its identical twin in South Korea, neither of which I've ridden. Also: why I know B&M dive coasters are best in the front: the only one I rode in the front was Oblivion. I didn't want to spend more time in line to ride the front of Yukon Striker so I rode it in the back care EVERY time I rode it, as I did with Valravn. While I'm not that much of a fan of dive coasters: I can say that Yukon Striker is the best I've ridden and it's unanimously considered to be the third best coaster at Canada Wonderland as much as Vortex is considered to be the 4th best coaster there (even if people disagree with the order of Behemoth and Leviathan, being #1 and #2 or #2 and #1. I personally prefer Behemoth over Leviathan like I prefer Diamondback over Orion at Kings Island which I finally visited last year, but I prefer Fury 325 over Lighting Striker aka Intimidator. but I digress) The only B&M Dive coaster I can see beating it is either Griffon or it's identical twin in South Korea, since while OTSR's are usually the worst kind of restraint OTSR restraints are the BEST on a B&M dive coaster, since being held over the tallest, steepest and sharpest drop won't only not result in bodily violence; it'll grant a better sense of airtime than it otherwise would on it's signature vertical drop. The same can be said for B&M inverts to a slightly lesser degree imo, but that's a conversation for another video. I'm now looking forward to seeing Behemoth in the back car during a rain ride. Thanks for posting this wonderful video!
I was terrified I’ve gone on this ride and I can guaranteed I never go on it ever again I went on it with my cousin and she was like stop the f…ing ride
Agreed. It's the only B&M giga that I've not been able to decide if the front or back is better. It's even harder when all the seats on an B&M giga are good, since 8 rows of straight across seating doesn't make much of a difference with a coaster so big with drops of 300' and speeds of over 90 MPH. On Fury 325 I prefer the front, on Orion I prefer the back: but I can't decide if I prefer the front or the back on Leviathan! But on Fury a back row ride is good; Just don't tell me you'll refuse to ride it in the middle of Leviathan if it's enough of a time saver; It's freakin' B&M giga ferfeksakes! (I'm trying to accentuate my Canadian accent) 😉 (I guess this means the shame of B&M gigas is Orion in the front? Please let me know in the comment section).
My biggest issue with Steel Vengeance is the last part of the double up, right before the midcourse brake run. I always get slammed into the side of the car at that part.
Looks like a nice fun ride that wasn't there when I visited 3 years ago. I live in a suburb of Vancouver B.C. so if you live in Ohio you live much closer to Canada Wonderland that I do. Thanks for posting!
"all this pain is eliminated and turned into floater airtime" Yeah idk about that bud, I've never felt anything more rough then the backseat of Magnum, that was by far the worst experience I've had on a coaster despite, yes, having had some decent airtime, the pain of getting whipped up and down into the lap restraint was horrendous.
I just started riding rollercoasters, so I only have been on Iron Dragon and Blue Streak so far (although I've gone on other rides). I still don't like the first drop that much, but I love the rest of Iron Dragon now. It's so fun! I went on Blue Streak because it looked fairly simple. I had heard it was rough, but some people seemed to love it, so I decided to try it for myself. I did enjoy it somewhat, but it was a bit uncomfortable. I think the worst part for me was the seat was so tight. I am fat and don't fit on some rides (including Mine Ride and Gemini, which I tried going on but the seatbelt didn't fit). With Blue streak, I almost couldn't sit down. The seatbelt and restraint fit, but I felt like I was so tightly in the seat that I didn't need the restraints. Iron dragons seats are much better. I wish I could go in Gemini and Mine Ride, but like I said, the seatbelt wasn't big enough. I was really disalpointed about Gemini. Since I'm still new to coasters, I was hyping myself up for it for like 15 minutes before getting in line and then sitting down and finding out I couldn't fit. 😞
