How do you take care of section 12 of IS 800:2007 in idea statica, where coonection is required to be designed for 1.2 Mp. It becomes even more critical for braced frames where brace connection needs to be designed for momemt of 1.2 Mp about critical bucklimg axis.
Running the model for uplift force with spring is not appropriate, as uplift will give tension in spring even though compression only spring has been assigned. I guess, compression only spring will be activated if we run non linear analysis. I would like to request to verify the result of base pressure for uplift load case once.

How to do it sir.? also how to do if the rafter is red even use big size like w 12x 170. col are ok but could u change the rafter size to W 14 even though col size are W12? could u please explain and enlighten?please also sir if u use portal frame, which calculation should be done in repo rt, sir? is the base is pin type or fix ed type or hing e type, sir?

I have been trying my possible best to get the analysis but the process is not scaling through. Please I need help and guidance on how to run the analysis please. This thing is giving me headache
